What

Documents the user-facing controls that shipped to AIR-1 main in firmware 26.7.23.1, plus a troubleshooting entry for the NOx fix.

Sensor Definitions → Configuration tab

Adds four controls that were missing from the table:

  • Air Quality LED Source (Off / NowCast AQI / CO2 / VOC Index), links to the LED Indicator guide
  • Air Quality LED Brightness (5-100%, default 100%)
  • Bluetooth Proxy (runtime toggle, off by default, no reflash)
  • Firmware Channel (Stable / Beta)

Also links the CO2 calibration guide from the existing CO2 Auto Calibration entry.

FAQ

Adds an entry for NOx reading unavailable: some units misreport the SEN54 model even though the NOx-capable SEN55 is fitted; firmware 26.7.23.1 forces the correct model so NOx reports again. Includes the note that NOx needs a short conditioning period after boot.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Clarified that AIR-1 CO₂ and gas sensors are intended for air-quality monitoring, not certified safety detection; dedicated safety monitors are recommended.
    • Added troubleshooting guidance for unavailable NOx Index readings and the firmware update required to restore them.
    • Documented new configuration options for LED source, LED brightness, Bluetooth Proxy, and firmware channel, including defaults and behavior.

Add Air Quality LED Source, Air Quality LED Brightness, Bluetooth Proxy,
and Firmware Channel to the AIR-1 Sensor Definitions configuration tab,
and link the CO2 calibration guide from the CO2 Auto Calibration entry.

Add an FAQ entry for the NOx-unavailable fix shipped in firmware
26.7.23.1 (some units misreport the SEN54 model; the firmware now forces
the correct SEN55 so the NOx Index reports again).

Poem

A rabbit reads the sensors bright,
With safer notes and settings right.
When NOx goes missing from the view,
SEN55 wakes with firmware new.
Hop, hop—clear docs guide the way!
