Artists, Labels & Areas

Artists and record labels can be linked to an area. This is done using MusicBrainz. Embedded metadata is not used.

When a new area is saved, the parent area will be saved as well.

For artists and record labels, on both the mobile and web app, their birth/activity area can be found at the bottom of their respective page.

Clicking on an area name will

• (On the web app) redirect you to a page listing artists and labels related to that area
• (On the mobile app) open a context menu, which allow you to access pages listing artists and labels related to that area.
