Release list
PushRight Desktop 0.2.3
New folders now list every untracked file individually before staging. Previewing a file no longer attempts to read its parent directory, fixing Windows "Access is denied (os error 5)". Ignore rules and per-file staging are preserved. Branch labels use readable text and clearer outlines.
Validation: engine regression suite, zero type-check errors/warnings, 16 automated checks, 15 real VS Code smoke checks, and desktop clicks to preview new and nested files. Includes English and Simplified Chinese documentation.
Windows x64 desktop preview. The unsigned installer requires Git on PATH and WebView2. SHA256SUMS.txt is attached.
PushRight for VS Code 0.2.4
The Source Control graph now expands commits into changed files in place. Select a file to open VS Code's native diff; double-click keeps the diff open. Root commits, renames and deletions are supported, with virtualized rows for large histories.
- Auto / All / selected local or remote branch scopes, remembered per repository. Auto follows the checked-out branch, upstream and remote base.
- Fetch, Pull and Push directly in the graph. Filtering does not check out a branch. Graph Push always targets a same-name remote branch and confirms the destination; Pull keeps Rebase instead of merge selected by default.
- Separate graph and SCM entries for initialized submodules and nested repositories.
- A Local Files tree for untracked and ignored files. Ignored directories expand lazily.
- Explorer/SCM actions for local-only ignore, shared .gitignore, tracking ignored files and stopping tracking while keeping local files. Stop-tracking explains the staged repository deletion and refuses to discard independently staged contents.
- English and Simplified Chinese UI and documentation.
Install the Windows x64 VSIX with Extensions: Install from VSIX, then reload VS Code. Expand Source Control > PushRight Graph and PushRight Local Files. The desktop installer remains at 0.2.3.
Validation: zero type-check errors/warnings, 19 JavaScript checks, 22 engine tests, 18 real VS Code checks against the installed final VSIX, and a 320px sidebar check. Large-row rendering was checked with synthetic 1.5-million-commit / 100,000-file data.
Windows x64, VS Code 1.90+ and Git on PATH. Submodules must already be initialized. PR/Issue collaboration is not included yet.
PushRight for VS Code 0.2.3
New folders now list every untracked file individually before staging. Previewing a file no longer attempts to read its parent directory, fixing Windows "Access is denied (os error 5)". Ignore rules and per-file staging are preserved. Branch labels use readable text and clearer outlines.
Validation: engine regression suite, zero type-check errors/warnings, 16 automated checks, 15 real VS Code smoke checks, and desktop clicks to preview new and nested files. Includes English and Simplified Chinese documentation.
The Source Control graph opens automatically once per workspace, then respects your layout. Compact 22px rows, smaller fonts/spacing and readable labels fit narrow sidebars, with full branch names on hover. Verified at 320px in dark, light and high-contrast themes.
Install with Extensions: Install from VSIX, then reload VS Code. Windows x64, VS Code 1.90+, Git on PATH. This is a preview release.
PushRight for VS Code 0.2.2
Line History now follows the editor selection automatically while its view is expanded. Click a line or select a range to see its history, without running the context-menu command. The editor keeps focus.
Rapid selections are coalesced, stale results are discarded, and hidden views perform no automatic history queries. Modified files show an inline explanation instead of interrupting editing with warning popups. Includes English and Simplified Chinese text and documentation.
Includes the Source Control sidebar PushRight Graph introduced in 0.2.1.
Install the Windows x64 VSIX using Extensions: Install from VSIX. After updating, reload VS Code, expand Line History, and click a line in a committed file.
Validation: type checking with zero errors/warnings, 16 automated checks, successful VSIX installation, and 14 real VS Code smoke checks against the installed package, including automatic line selection and hidden-view behavior.
Windows x64 only. Requires VS Code 1.90+ and Git on PATH. PR/Issue collaboration remains outside this preview.
PushRight for VS Code 0.2.1
Adds PushRight Graph below Changes in the VS Code Source Control sidebar. It works with built-in Git disabled and displays commit lanes, all branches, and branch/tag labels. Select a repository in the dropdown and click a commit to open its details in the full graph.
Also fixes initial navigation to an older commit being overwritten by HEAD selection. Includes English and Simplified Chinese UI and documentation.
Install the Windows x64 VSIX using Extensions: Install from VSIX. After updating, reload VS Code and expand Source Control > PushRight Graph. If hidden, enable it from the Source Control Views menu.
Validation: type checking with zero errors/warnings, 15 automated checks, successful VSIX installation, 12 real VS Code smoke checks against the installed package, and manual verification of sidebar rendering and older-commit navigation.
Windows x64 only. Requires VS Code 1.90+ and Git on PATH. PR/Issue collaboration remains outside this preview.

PushRight for VS Code — Windows x64 preview
Install from VS Code Marketplace under AthurLau.pushright, or download the VSIX below and run Extensions: Install from VSIX.
- Explicit push destinations with a same-name remote branch recommendation.
- Every Pull defaults to Rebase instead of merge.
- Native Source Control, selected-line staging, commit/amend, blame, CodeLens, file/line history and the shared commit graph.
- English and Simplified Chinese UI and guides.
The release review fixed graph-session leaks, theme reloads, oversized revision reads, history navigation and rename handling, selected-line save failures, and multi-repository action routing. Revision text and patches are bounded at 4 MiB. Requires a trusted local workspace, Windows x64, VS Code 1.90+, and Git on PATH.
Preview limits: PR/Issue and hosting-provider collaboration are not included. Linux/macOS/WSL/SSH builds are not included. Line history requires the selected file to match HEAD. The desktop installer remains in the separate v0.2.0 desktop release.
Validation: type checks, 14 JavaScript checks, 19 Rust engine tests, isolated VSIX installation, and 10 real VS Code smoke checks against the installed package.

PushRight v0.2.0
PushRight v0.2.0 — See your branches. Push to the right place.
What's new
- Renamed GitGod to PushRight, including the desktop window, executable and installer.
- English by default, with complete English / Simplified Chinese UI packs and a persistent language selector.
- Pull → Rebase instead of merge is checked every time. The explicit
--rebaseflag overrides a repository's merge preference. Unchecking explicitly uses--no-rebase. - Pull displays the upstream and uses the existing conflict Continue / Abort workflow. Rebase conflict help explains ours/theirs correctly.
- English and Chinese READMEs, with fresh desktop screenshots free of the automation pointer.
Same-name push recommendations, individual author styles, editable repository commit identity and bounded large-diff reads remain available.
Download
Run PushRight_0.2.0_x64-setup.exe on Windows 10 / 11 x64. Git on PATH and WebView2 Runtime are required. The installer offers English and Simplified Chinese; application language is selected separately. Verify the download with SHA256SUMS.txt.
This is an unsigned desktop preview. The older GitGod installation is not removed automatically. The application data identifier is retained for settings compatibility. VS Code, blame and hosted PR / Issue integrations are not part of this release.
Validation
- Svelte/TypeScript: 0 errors, 0 warnings.
- Frontend: 4 tests passed, including language parity and persistence.
- Git engine: 17 tests passed, including diverged rebase/merge pulls and conflict recovery.
- Windows x64 NSIS build and desktop UI checks completed.
这条拉取规范不规定功能分支如何合入 dev/main/master。已补充变基冲突的继续/中止说明及我方/对方语义,更新双语 README 和无蓝色指针的截图。安装包为 Windows x64 未签名预览版,旧 GitGod 安装不会自动移除。
