v1.1.0
What's New in v1.1.0
Open-Meteo Solar Forecast Support
The card now fully supports the Open-Meteo Solar Forecast integration alongside the existing Volcast, Solcast, and forecast.solar integrations.
Auto-detection
- Select an Open-Meteo Solar Forecast device in the card editor to automatically populate all 7 daily forecast entities
- Entities are mapped by key:
energy_production_today(Day 1) throughenergy_production_d6(Day 7) - The
energy_production_today_remainingsensor andenergy_production_d7are correctly excluded
Hourly popup chart
- Clicking any day bar opens the hourly forecast popup, powered by the
wh_periodattribute on each day's sensor - Each bar uses its own day's entity — Day 3's popup shows Day 3's hourly data, not today's
- Hourly values are converted from Wh to kWh automatically
- Timestamps are parsed timezone-safely: the hour is extracted directly from the ISO string (e.g.
T06:→ 6:00) rather than relying on the browser timezone, ensuring chart labels always match HA's local time
No breaking changes — Volcast, Solcast, and forecast.solar continue to work exactly as before.
