Pluck 1.17.1
Setting up yt-dlp, ffmpeg and Deno now shows its progress, carries on where it stopped on slow connections, and can always be stopped and retried. From now on, Pluck only asks to update when there's something new in your version.
Install
Pluck comes in two versions. Download one below, open it and drag Pluck into Applications.
- Pluck.dmg: downloading videos and music, the Library, sharing to your phone and converting files. Small and focused.
- Pluck-Studio.dmg: everything in Pluck, plus local AI, the editing tools for DaVinci Resolve, the Logo Animator and Edit Anywhere.
You can switch between them any time in Settings → General; your downloads, Library and settings stay.
The first time you open it, macOS will say it can't verify the developer. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. You only need to do this once; later updates install from inside the app.
Nothing else to install: Pluck downloads yt-dlp, ffmpeg and Deno on first launch and keeps them up to date.
