Pluck 1.19.0
The Editor (both editions): open any video or song on a timeline, like in an editing program. Cut with the blade, take parts out, set in and out, and export the edit or each part. Right-click a download and choose Open in Editor.
Also new for everyone: subscriptions to YouTube channels, playlists and podcasts; clipping by chapter; other Macs' shared Libraries open again on Macs with more than one network connection.
Pluck Studio: local AI inside the Editor (best moments, filler words, cutting pauses, and subtitles you can edit, resize and drag into place); one Search for what's said and seen; proxies, originals and folder sync with Edit Anywhere; New Background keeps logos and graphics; Fit Music to Length lands any length exactly. The AI features run locally on your Mac; nothing is uploaded.
Download
Pick one of the two files below, open it and drag Pluck into Applications.
| File | What you get |
|---|---|
| Pluck.dmg | Pluck: downloading videos and music, the Library, sharing to your phone and converting files. Small and focused. |
| Pluck-Studio.dmg | Pluck Studio: everything in Pluck, plus local AI, the editing tools for DaVinci Resolve, the Logo Animator and Edit Anywhere. |
You can switch between them any time in Settings → General; your downloads, Library and settings stay.
The first time you open it, macOS will say it can't verify the developer. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. You only need to do this once; later updates install from inside the app.
Nothing else to install: Pluck downloads yt-dlp, ffmpeg and Deno on first launch and keeps them up to date.
