v0.6.10
The desktop app is updated too: Desktop v0.0.4, with a new Studio for images and video.
Images and video
- New
image.generate: the agent draws pictures on OpenRouter through Atomic Chat Core and saves them in the working folder. Square, landscape, portrait or an exact aspect ratio, up to 4 pictures in one call. - New
video.generate: a 4, 6 or 8 second clip from a prompt, or from a picture as the first frame. 4 seconds is the default and the cheapest. The clip is saved asvideo-<time>.mp4and sent with the reply; Telegram plays it inline. - Both tools appear once an OpenRouter key is set, and ask before they spend money (new approval category
paid_generation). OpenRouter charges your account; stopping a clip does not cancel the charge. - When a video model is busy, the agent tells you which one and offers up to three others. It does not switch to a pricier model on its own.
- Long tool calls report progress on the HTTP stream as
tool_updateframes.
Also new
- Web search falls back to Exa's free endpoint when DuckDuckGo is unavailable. When Exa's free searches run out, the result says a key is needed (
key_requiredon thetool_resultframe) instead of failing silently. - Rename a chat:
PATCH /api/sessions/{id}with{ title }. A name you set is kept: auto-naming and a turn that was already running never put the old one back. - Archives: the attachments hint names
os.fs.archive.listandos.fs.archive.extract, so the agent opens zip, tar, gz and tgz files it receives. - Atomic Chat Core 0.18.6 (was 0.16.0). An existing install switches over on its next idle start.
