Using the Character Sheet's Inventory Tab

Adding Equipment to a Character

  1. Open an existing character sheet, and click on the Inventory tab on the right-hand side.
  2. From the All Equipment compendium, click on the ACKS Equipment subfolder to expand out the list of equipment.
  3. Click and drag a piece of equipment to the character sheet Inventory window.
  4. A new line item is created for the equipment.
  5. On the right side of the equipment’s line item, click the edit button to open the equipment’s description window
  6. Adjust any values you see fit to adjust, including current and maximum quantity
  7. Close the equipment description window when finished making changes.

Removing Equipment from a Character

  1. Click the delete button (garbage can icon) to remove the equipment from the character’s inventory.

Adding Money to a Character

By default, newly created actors (character sheets) will contain line items for each kind of coin (copper, silver, gold, etc), so you should not normally need to drag a new line item from the Money list in the compendium, unless you've accidentally delete the item.

  1. Open an existing character sheet, and click on the Inventory tab on the right-hand side.
  2. On the character sheet’s Inventory section, you should see separate lines with the available quantities of Platinum, Gold, Electrum, Silver, and Copper coins.
  3. Click the + and - icons on each line to change the amount of that currency that the character has on hand.
  4. You can also directly edit the total quantity to manually set an amount.
  5. Click the edit button on the line item for any currency
  6. Change the “Quantity (Carried)” and “Quantity (Bank)” values to the desired amounts.
  7. Close the window, and the inventory list will show the new values you just entered in the currency window.
    1. Quantity = Quantity (Carried),
    2. Quantity (Bank) = Quantity (Bank)
    3. The Value (gp) = the sum of those two numbers on the line item.

Removing Money From a Character

The difference when removing coins from a character is that you do not delete the line item for the coin.

To remove money from a character, you set their money's quantity to zero:

  1. Open an existing character sheet, and click on the Inventory tab on the right-hand side.
  2. Click the - icon on a line to change the amount of that currency to zero (0), or
  3. You can also directly edit the total quantity to manually set the amount to zero (0).
  4. Click the edit button on the line item for any currency
  5. Change the “Quantity (Carried)” and/or the “Quantity (Bank)” values to zero (0) as desired.
  6. Close the window, and the inventory list will show the new values you just entered in the currency window.

Adding Weapons to a Character

  1. Open an existing character sheet, and click on the Inventory tab on the right-hand side
  2. In the Foundry menu in the upper right, select the Compendium Packs tab, and navigate to ACKS II Revised Rulebook -> Equipment, and select the All Equipment compendium
  3. A new window should pop up which contains subfolders for ACKS Armor, ACKS Equipment, ACKS Money, and ACKS Weapons
  4. Click on the ACKS Weapons subfolder to expand out the list of weapons
  5. Click and drag a weapon to the character sheet Inventory window, and confirm that a line item is created for that weapon
  6. One the right side of the weapon’s line item, click the equip button (armor icon) to equip the weapon to the character
  7. Click the favorite button (star icon) on the weapon’s line item, confirming that the proficiency is now listed in the Favorites box on the Attributes tab of the character sheet
  8. Click the edit button (pencil icon) on the weapon’s line item to open the item description window
  9. The item description and attributes may ben changed as you see fit
  10. Add a damage bonus in the Damage field on the left side of this window to give the weapon a bonus to damage rolls (the syntax for this field should be 1dX + 1, where X is the type of die for the weapon)
  11. Add an attack bonus in the Bonus field on the left side of this window to give the weapon a bonus to attack rolls
  12. Close the description window, hover over the weapon icon on the left side of the weapon’s line item, and click the die icon to make an attack roll with the weapon
  13. The result of this roll should correctly consider the attack bonus and damage bonus you’ve entered when you edited the weapon description
  14. Confirm that the encumbrance bar at the bottom of this window is correctly adding the weapon’s weight

Removing Weapons from a Character

  1. Click the delete button (garbage can icon) to remove the weapon from the character’s inventory.

Adding Armor to a Character

  1. Open an existing character sheet, and click on the Inventory tab on the right-hand side.
  2. From the All Equipment compendium, click on the ACKS Armor subfolder to expand out the list of armor
  3. Click and drag a body armor to the character sheet Inventory window, and confirm that a line item is created for that armor
  4. On the right side of the armor’s line item, click the equip button (armor icon) to equip the armor to the character
  5. Navigate back to the Attributes tab on the character sheet, and confirm that the AC value in the Armor Class section on the Attributes tab is adjusted by the armor’s AC value in its line item on the Inventory tab (total value = AC value of the armor + DEX bonus)
  6. Click back to the Inventory tab, and click the equip button again
  7. The AC bonus on the Attributes tab on the character sheet should now show the value of AC prior to equipping the armor (the value for DEX bonus)
  8. Click the edit button on the armor’s line item to open the item description window
  9. Change the value of the it’s AC to add an additional +1 (for example, Chain Mail Armor has a standard 4 AC value, so change it to 5)
  10. Close the window, equip the armor, and confirm that the AC on the Attributes tab is adjusted by the armor’s new AC value (total value = AC value of the armor + DEX bonus)
  11. Confirm that the encumbrance bar at the bottom of this window is correctly adding the amor’s weight

To Remove Armor from a Character Sheet

  1. Click the delete button (garbage can icon) to remove the armor from the character’s inventory.
