1.0.15 Hotfix — fix server join crash
1.0.15 Hotfix — fix server join crash
Players could not join dedicated servers (Invalid player data) because /az summon used an unregistered command argument. Equipment args now use vanilla resource location arguments (ResourceLocationArgument / IdentifierArgument). Modded item ids still work.
Fixed
- Dedicated-server join crash —
/az summonno longer uses an unregistered anonymousArgumentType. Armor, weapon, tool, and shield args serialize with the vanillaminecraft:resource_locationtype, soClientboundCommandsPacketno longer fails with Invalid player data.

1.0.14 — Accept almost all modded companion armor and tools
1.0.14 — Accept almost all modded companion armor and tools
Companions accept almost every modded armor piece and tool, not only vanilla ArmorItem / SwordItem classes.
Changed
- Equipment slots — helmet, chest, legs, and boots accept items that occupy that slot, sit in armor/tool tags, have armor attributes, or have an equipment-shaped id (
wyvern_helmet,mage_robe, …). Dirt and food stay rejected unless they are actually wearable. - CCI
/az summon— armor, weapon, tool, and shield args acceptnamespace:pathids (e.g.draconicevolution:wyvern_helmet) via the item registry, not a vanilla-only list. - Mining AI — tool auto-equip also treats modded pickaxe/axe/shovel-like ids as tools, not only vanilla item tags.

1.0.11 — Wiggly-only dog, summon modes and CCI kill command
1.0.11 — Wiggly-only dog, summon modes and CCI kill command
Wiggly-only dog, /az summon modes and kill command, Steve/Alex CCI defaults, 26.x item textures, and companion gear/AI menus.
Changed
- Wiggly dog — only a charm-owned Wiggly companion gets the extra dog (0.7 scale, one at a time).
/az summonnever spawns the sidekick, even with typewiggly. /az summondefault — omitted type is a player-form companion with a random Steve or Alex skin (not Kon). Explicitkon/bits/wigglystill work.
Added
/az summonmode — optionalfollow/stay/sit/idle/attack/patrol/home(idle → wander, attack → guard). Default Follow./az summon kill—all, nearest, or nametag. Removes CCI timed summons only; charm Kon / Bits / Wiggly / Dox are untouched.- Gear / AI menus (Minecraft 1.21.1 and 1.21.5) — companion general settings (nametag, teleport, global talk, idle chat, chat listen, chunk loading) plus adventure inventory.
Fixed
- 26.x item textures —
items/*.jsonso Companion Charm and Kon Bed render on Minecraft 26.x. - 26.x spawn / Bits — spawn de-dupe and stored Bits persistence on NeoForge 26.1.2 / 26.2.

1.0.10 — Kon/Bits invincibility, spawn guards, CCI summon
1.0.10 — Kon/Bits invincibility, spawn guards, CCI summon
Kon/Bits invincibility (including Draconic Evolution), duplicate-spawn guards, safe teleports, per-player persistence, quieter chat, and CCI /az summon.
Fixed
- Kon / Bits invincibility — charm Kon and Bits never die from combat or world damage, including unknown/modded types (Draconic Evolution chaos/wyvern, armor-pierce). CCI timed summons stay mortal so they can expire. Charm dismiss, logout park, and admin discard still work.
- Duplicate spawns — login grace, UUID reuse, and cap culling so Wiggly and owned companions do not double-spawn while chunks are still loading.
- Safe teleport — follow/dimension snaps land beside the owner (never inside their hitbox), with brief post-teleport i-frames.
- Per-player settings + inventory — companion UI settings and inventories persist across dismiss/recreate via world SavedData keyed by player UUID + companion identity.
- Reduced chatter — idle/reactive/scripted lines use longer cooldowns and per-player ambient gates so companions talk less often.
Added
/az summon— CCI/streamer temporary companion (permission 2) on all loaders including 26.x. Spawns an extra follower with a timed death window; does not replace charm Kon/Bits/Wiggly/Dox. IMCcompanion_cci_summonon 1.21.1 / 1.21.5 / 1.20.1.

1.0.9 — inventory keep, Kon combat, humanoid bows
1.0.9 — inventory keep, Kon combat, humanoid bows
Inventory/Bits never drop by default, Kon/PASSIVE combat parity, and humanoid bow combat.
Fixed
- Inventory & Bits persist — death no longer dumps companion/Bit gear into the world (
keepInventoryOnDeathdefault true). Snapshots go to the bound charm (parents) or parent StoredChildren (Bits). Equipment drop chances forced to 0; LivingDrops canceled when keep is on. - Kon / PASSIVE combat — PASSIVE companions (including Kon) now proactively aggro hostile mobs like other combat-capable companions. Target acquisition no longer requires HOSTILE attitude or a team id. Fabric
canAttackTargetaligned with NeoForge.
Added
- Bow / ranged combat — humanoid forms (player, zombie/skeleton/husk/stray, enderman) and humanoid Bits shoot when holding a bow/crossbow with arrows (or Infinity). Animal / spider / non-humanoid forms stay melee-only.
Config
keepInventoryOnDeath(server combat section, default true)

Summary
- NeoForge 26.x: fix RegisterEvent crash (Block/Item id not set / unbound azscompanions:kon_bed) via registerBlock / registerItem / registerSimpleBlockItem.

- ITEM_FIND rarity: hard cap of one find claim per ~14 days (wall-clock + ticks); custom item_find fan-out no longer bypasses the gate; logout no longer resets it.
