Gameplay Powered Abilities

Powered Abilities and Colour Crystal Pieces:

In Colourised the main protagonist, Flit, is tasked with collecting broken Colour Crystal pieces.

The Colour Crystal pieces are found in large and small varieties.

The large pieces are returned to a point in each level and used to return missing colour to the level.

The smaller pieces are respawning and work like an unlimited fuel source for Flit's Magic staff.

Each level will contain different places where the smaller crystal shards can be found and used to allow Flit's Magic staff to become powered up and let Flit use a "Powered Ability".

In Colourised there are six levels, each a different colour.

For each level there is a broken Colour Crystal.

In total there are six broken colour crystals.

Large and small broken colour crystal shards can be found in six varieties of colour.

Flit's staff has a tip that carries a broken colour crystal shard given to him by Wolpertings.

Flit must return at least one large piece of Colour Crystal to the Wolpertings to be granted a special colour crystal shard for the tip of his staff.

Powered Abilities are unlocked by receiving the colour crystals that the Wolpertings provide.

Powered Abilities are represented on the HUD as a specially-shaped crystal at the tip of the staff-shaped health bar.

Crystals on the HUD are coloured relative to the large coloured crystal piece Flit provides to the Wolpertings.
