Bible Concordance for Android 0.2.1 (Beta)

Bible Concordance for Android 0.2.1 (Beta) — a small, offline companion to the Windows app.

This is the phone app only. The Windows app is a separate release (see the newest v… release).

New in 0.2.1

• The words of Jesus are in red, in all five translations. It can be switched off under More.
• Tidier quotation marks in the text (no stray spaces inside them).

What it does

• Read the Bible in five public-domain translations (BSB, KJV, ASV, WEB, YLT).
• One search box: type a reference to go there, or a word, phrase or subject to search.
• Tap a verse to bookmark it, highlight it, write a note, see cross-references, compare translations, listen, share or copy.
• Easton's and Smith's Bible dictionaries, four reading plans, a verse for the day.
• Backup and restore; the backup file also works in the Windows app (My Study).
• Fully offline. No account, no adverts.

To install

1. Download BibleConcordance_Android_0.2.1.apk on the phone and open it.
2. Android asks whether to allow installing from this source: allow it.
3. Play Protect may say it doesn't recognise the developer; choose "Install anyway".

It installs over an earlier version and keeps your bookmarks, highlights and notes.

Needs Android 7 or newer. 52 MB.
