SlopFin 01.000.000 — public preview
Pre-releaseA native Jellyfin movie and TV client for jailbroken PlayStation 5 consoles. Firmware 8.20 is the tested setup. Use the folder ZIP for normal installation.
Highlights
- Adaptive-trigger seeking: L2 rewinds and R2 moves forward, with physical trigger resistance. Tap for a one-second adjustment; hold and press deeper for faster scrubbing. D-pad taps seek ten seconds and L1/R1 jump two minutes.
- Autoplay per series: keep one show playing and stop after an episode of another. Includes Up Next and configurable inactivity prompts.
- Grouped search: separate Movies, Series and Episodes rows keep a matching show visible among episode results. Text entry uses the PlayStation keyboard.
- Native hardware decoding: H.264 and HEVC use the PS5 decoder. Jellyfin can convert unsupported audio while keeping compatible video.
Resume, audio/subtitle selection, quality settings and metadata-based Skip Intro are included. Intro seeks were checked on South Park and The Office. Administrator accounts also have a controller-accessible server dashboard.
