PZServerLauncher v1.7.0

Choose a tag to compare

@Bentheck Bentheck released this 05 Sep 13:28

What changed

  • Reworked live logs and console buffering with bounded queues, batched UI updates, cached display text, and native scrolling to keep the launcher responsive during noisy server startup.
  • Compacted repetitive Workshop download and mod-override progress, and suppressed low-value engine warning families from the launcher display while preserving the server's raw log files.
  • Made mod-settings discovery incremental and cached so large mod lists are not rescanned during routine navigation.
  • Added the featured Horse Mod entry and refined Mods & Maps editing with clearer cards, state controls, load-order arrows, details, and corrected unsaved-change tracking.
  • Streamlined the launcher navigation and page chrome, removed redundant status/actions, and restored the full Buy Me a Coffee support label.
  • Improved launcher-managed server cleanup and runtime state handling around shutdown and stale processes.

Verification

  • 209 automated tests passed locally.
  • Windows x64 MSI built successfully with version 1.7.0.

  • Improved mod-settings performance by replacing broad Workshop media scans with a shallow cached definition index.
  • Bounded the live console panels with native scrollbars and compacted repetitive asset warnings while preserving full raw logs.
  • Attached launched servers to the launcher lifetime on Windows so server processes are cleaned up when the launcher exits unexpectedly.

PZServerLauncher v1.5.0

Choose a tag to compare

@Bentheck Bentheck released this 03 Sep 19:53

What's new

  • Rebuilt the launcher around an integrated desktop runtime, removing the separate web-host surface and keeping server management in one native Windows app.
  • Refreshed the full desktop interface, including clearer server workspaces, settings editors, consoles, backups, logs, and responsive operational states.
  • Added live Steam branch discovery. Available Project Zomboid server versions are loaded at startup and shown directly in the Create Profile popup.
  • Saved the selected Steam branch with each profile and revalidated it before install or update, preventing retired anonymous branches from silently breaking SteamCMD installation.
  • Added a persistent dark mode that applies across every workspace and popup.
  • Improved Mods & Maps and Sandbox editing, runtime diagnostics, import handling, and local profile operations.

Assets

  • PZServerLauncher.Setup.msi

  • Added Ordered Preset Manager quality-of-life improvements in Mods & Maps: live filtering by Workshop display name, mod ID, or Workshop ID, plus Remove from Editor directly from Workshop preview.

Assets

  • PZServerLauncher.Setup.msi
