Development and Licensing

Building from source

SCP Additions uses Java 17 and the included Gradle wrapper:

./gradlew clean build

The compiled JAR is written to:

build/libs

Run configurations generated for Forge may be used from IntelliJ IDEA for normal development testing.

License

SCP Additions is released under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-SA 3.0).

SCP attribution

Content relating to the SCP Foundation, including the Foundation logo and SCP concepts, originates from the SCP Wiki and its respective authors. SCP Wiki content is licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.

Music and SCP Unity material

As of version 3.0.6, enter.ogg is disabled and no longer plays when a player enters a world while permission to reuse the relevant SCP Unity music is being sought from the original composer.

SCP Unity music will only be reintroduced after explicit permission is obtained. If permission is not granted, remaining SCP Unity music will be removed and replaced with original music in future updates.

This policy is separate from ordinary SCP Wiki attribution and should not be interpreted as permission to redistribute third-party music.

Credits

SCP Unity is the project's primary visual and mechanical inspiration. Special thanks to SCP: Overtime for inspiring the original creation of SCP Additions. Various facility assets were adapted from or inspired by SCP Unity-related blocks in its 1.16.5 version.

Individual SCP authors and model contributors are credited on the project pages and distribution descriptions where applicable.
