SCP Additions is an SCP survival horror and facility-building mod for Minecraft 1.20.1. Inspired by SCP: Containment Breach and SCP Unity, it combines functional SCPs and containment machinery with a custom inventory, survival systems, keycard security, animated doors, and a large collection of facility-building content.
The current documented release is SCP Additions 3.0.6 — Hazards & Survival Update.
Major additions include:
- SCP-012, with attraction, psychosis, self-inflicted damage, Bleeding, and SCP-079 integration;
- SCP-714, a protective accessory with progressive exhaustion and coma;
- the reintroduced Hazmat Suit, with sealed protection and timed equipment actions;
- a portable Crafting tab with learned and pinned recipes;
- revised SCP Inventory overflow behavior, facility-block mining, Status effects, and SCP-131 vocalizations.
- Getting Started — requirements, installation, first launch, and default controls.
- Gameplay Systems — inventory, Crafting, Status, Codex, contextual interactions, vitals, blink, and building content.
- SCPs and Facility Systems — SCP behavior, doors, readers, Tesla Gates, decontamination, and SCP-079.
- Hazmat Suit — equipment controls, protection, restrictions, and penalties.
- SCP-012 — containment, influence, damage, Bleeding, commands, and SCP-079 interaction.
- SCP-714 — protection, exposure progression, audio, and coma.
- Configuration Center — the recommended in-game editing workflow.
- Configuration Files — manual JSON reference and default-file behavior.
- SCP-294 — drinks, matching, colors, effects, and actions.
- SCP-914 — explicit recipes, inferred transformations, entities, players, and skins.
- Commands and Gamerules — administration and world controls.
- Compatibility and Troubleshooting — updates, optional mods, resets, and common problems.
- Development and Licensing — building from source, credits, music policy, and license.
Existing worlds and customized configuration files should always be backed up before changing versions.
