Muliple LUNS on Sparcstation2

Hi all,
After booting my blueSCSIv2 with 32 GB Sandisk sdcard into a Sparcstation 2, I keep getting LUNS 0-7 reported.

the img command used was:

sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=HD30_512.hda bs=512 count=2041200 status=progress

and returned:

1045094400 bytes (1,0 GB, 997 MiB) copied, 14,5246 s, 72,0 MB/s

the .ini file looks like this:

Why do i get multiple LUNS?

Before we go too far down the debug path - can you please flash the latest stable release? https://github.com/BlueSCSI/BlueSCSI-v2/releases/tag/v2026.08.17 and report back.

Also there's no such setting as RespondToAllLuns

One more thing, please run with Debug=true to get more details. fwiw i couldnt reproduce multiple lun's on my Linux machine. We only respond to LUN0

Hi,
I updated the firmware, removed the line respondToAllLuns from ini and added Debug= True
I added the Logfile....

Still the same . 8 LUNS

BTW i see a parity error... No additional ext SCSI devices attached, BlueSCSI onboard term = ON

Thanks, clearly see the issue is DB1 data line is stuck which is messing up most commands and causing parity errors - this is a physical issue so your connector, cable, etc could be the issue. Do a careful visual inspection along with any cleaning with IPA or electronics cleaner to see if you can resolve it that way. Closely visually inspect (you can attach a photo here too) the top of the BlueSCSI. Sellers do a smoke test before shipping but something could always slip through the process. Let us know what you find!

Problem solved..
I mounted another blueSCSIv2 ( FW Version: 2026.04.27) which runs fine in a Sparcstation10, Switched internal SCSI controller ( which gave the error previously too) It runs fine:
Target3 Unit0 Disk BLUESCSIHARDDRIVE Etc....
Obviously the blueSCSI Controller was at fault.
I inspected visual, but no physical faults. Added a HDR pic.
I guess its going towards a swap for a new one?
