I worktree riprendono l'ultima chat all'apertura, disattivabile con «Riprendi ultima chat».
Menu contestuale sui task in coda (tasto destro o Shift+F10): Avvia, Nuova corsia, Modifica, Copia prompt, Sposta su/giù ed Elimina.
macOS è supportato su Apple Silicon (chip M).
Removed
Fixed

Added
Isolated work lanes on the same repository: a second agent works in a sibling worktree on an omp/lane-* branch, with its own conversation, while Main stays your tree. The lane row appears under the project bar only when there is at least one lane besides Main; the "+" button creates worktrees and reopens closed lanes, and so does the project popover. Switching lane realigns files, Git, editor and agent together; a question in a lane you are not looking at does not steal focus but makes its tab pulse. The bin, obj, .vs, packages and node_modules folders are not copied; local files needed to run the project (Parametri.ini, .env) are copied only after confirmation and never end up in the lane's commits.
Starting tasks in lanes: clicking a queued task starts it on Main when Main is free; when it is busy Studio offers an isolated lane (or "Force in …" the open lane), and Shift+click opens one without asking. Automatic starts keep at most one lane open on their own and, from the third concurrent agent, a notice lists the models and processes already running.
"Review and integrate": a diff against the target branch with added and removed lines and the commands actually run, then a single click brings one squash commit onto the branch, closes the lane's session and removes worktree and branch. The agent can run the same procedure with the studio_lane_integrate tool; in the chat a card summarises commits and files with "Undo integration", which moves the branch back and keeps the work in omp/restored-<lane>. Unsaved changes to other files on the main branch are left untouched; if they touch the same files or the main agent is working, the integration is queued and restarts on its own; a conflict goes back to the lane's agent and, once resolved, a confirmation click is required, even after a restart. Integration stops instead of overwriting ignored files in the project (for example secret.json) and, if interrupted halfway, also restores the files. Requires Git 2.38 or later.
Closing and deleting lanes: the X closes without losing anything (worktree and branch stay and reopen from "+" or the popover), "Delete worktree…" removes them after a confirmation that says how many never-integrated commits and files will be lost. A lane left half cleaned up is cleaned on the next attempt, a lane left "integrating" after Studio was closed becomes reviewable again on restart, and on Windows the folder is deleted only after the lane's processes have really exited.
Lanes get a short name at the first message (the area being changed, without repeating names already used); double-click or right-click › Rename to choose it yourself. Worktrees resume their last chat when opened, which can be turned off with "Resume last chat".
GitHub integration through GitHub CLI (gh) or a Personal Access Token. In the project picker (+) folders show their linked repository and a section lists remote repositories to clone and open with one click; tabs and the Git panel show outgoing and incoming commits, Pull, Push and Sync, and the GitHub Actions result (refreshed at most once a minute while the Git panel is visible). Pull and Sync set local changes aside and reapply them with git's autostash: on a conflict the operation is cancelled and they are left untouched, and Sync does not push when the pull failed. New GitHub section in Settings and in the initial setup; on macOS gh installed with Homebrew is found even when Studio is started from Finder.
New empty project from the "+" in the top bar: Studio creates the folder with git init and, when GitHub is connected, also the public or private repository already linked as origin.
Automatic check of the Git projects' remotes on opening and every 5 minutes: the tab shows incoming commits and the popover offers a preview and a quick pull only with a clean tree and a fast-forward. It can be turned off with Auto-fetch in Settings.
Studio Doctor (Settings, Ctrl+Alt+D or /doctor): checks in under a second omp, Git and Git Bash, the terminal, local databases and reachability of the AI providers (custom ones too, on their own address), warns when Git is too old to integrate lanes, and copies an anonymised report to paste into a bug report.
Redesigned graphical chat: text revealed sentence by sentence (blur, stream or final), a tray above the composer with todos, subagents and a queue of messages you can edit before they are sent, a badge-based composer for @file and / commands, and video and document attachments. Agent questions have their own card, which builds up while the model writes it, with a tab per question, "Recommended" in green, a free note and "Decide for me"; minimised, it keeps the answers already given, and after sending a compact summary stays in the chat.
Drag files and folders from your system into the chat: they become @ mentions showing the name, the full path appears on hover and the agent receives the path, with no copies and no size limit. Images up to 5 MB are also attached as a preview. The attach button opens a file and folder picker.
@file mentions in the composer, the task editor and the Companion, with fuzzy search that favours open and modified files; in bubbles and task previews each mention is a tag that opens the file with one click. / after a space opens the command palette in the middle of a message too.
Prewalk: plan with the active model and hand over to @smol once; it is armed from the composer without restarting the chat and can be enabled on single tasks too.
Short titles generated by the light model for chat sessions (also shown in the terminal's /resume) and for queued tasks, which become the lane's name when the task starts in a new lane. They can be turned off in Settings → Tasks.
Two-step Stop in the chat and in the terminal: the first click interrupts; if the agent does not stop, the button becomes "Force stop" and the second click ends the process with all its children. The same applies to Ctrl+C and Alt+C in the chat.
Agent questions survive a window reload and can be answered from either the main window or the Companion; the first answer wins. Questions from an omp process that has already ended no longer reappear.
When the chat gets no answer to a command, Studio saves a diagnostic report in the logs folder and shows its path in the error.
Context menu on queued tasks (right-click or Shift+F10): Start, New lane, Edit, Copy prompt, Move up/down and Delete.
Project tab name, initials, colour and preferences stay saved and come back when the project is reopened; in the project picker folders can also be found by their custom initials or name.
+X -Y badges with the lines added and removed against HEAD on project tabs, the panel and completed tasks.
Prototype Lab (experimental, enable it in Settings → General): each React 19 + Tailwind v4 prototype is a lane of the project with a live preview, an internal Git that saves every request as a recoverable revision, and an agent that reads the original project but writes only in the prototype. Prototypes reopen from the project popover and can be deleted for good from the tab's menu; Ctrl+Alt+P creates a free prototype that can later be attached to a project.
Sign in to OAuth providers from Settings: "Sign in again", "Add account" and "Sign in with OAuth" open an integrated terminal running omp login <provider>, and the account list refreshes when it closes.
The empty chat shows the omp banner with the installed version, animated the first time; the same wireframe banner replaces the grey placeholders while omp starts or a session loads.
After an omp update the empty chat shows, under the banner, how many changes arrived, as the terminal does: clicking the notice or /changelog (/changelog full for the full list) opens them in a window. Once read, the notice disappears from the terminal too.
Changed
New logo: omp's square pi. On Windows the icon is the pi alone and the window switches to white legs when the taskbar is dark; on macOS and Linux the pi sits on a dark rounded tile. The logo in the top bar and in the Companion follows the theme.
The thinking level is always chosen with a slider that shows only the levels the selected model accepts, in the composer, the Task Editor and Roles; the quick cycle skips unaccepted levels too.
The composer's context window shows the same breakdown as /context (system prompt, tools, skills, messages, compaction reserve and free space).
Studio command results and startup notices (role, model or thinking changes, copy, fork, rename, command and attachment errors, MCP tools that failed to mount) appear in a label above the composer instead of in the chat, which stays on the welcome screen. Confirmations disappear after 4 seconds, warnings after 8, errors when you close them or send a new message.
On macOS "Restart and Install" replaces the installed app by itself and reopens it, without opening the DMG; if it cannot, it opens the DMG as before.
Two-line session history (title and time, then the first message) grouped into Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days and Older; the list reads only the project's folders and a long session reopens without the cascading animation.
Quieter project tabs: the active tab has a light tint of the project colour, the dot breathes while a project works in the background, a steady amber ring marks finished work and a breathing one an awaited answer; Lab prototypes have their own icon.
The model is chosen with the same picker in the composer, tasks, roles and the Ctrl+P cycle, and search also finds names written with spaces instead of dashes.
Dialogs, confirmations, the shortcut guide and settings use shared windows and controls, keyboard accessible and sized to their content; in settings Ctrl+Enter saves and Esc cancels the edit without closing the window.
The Companion speaks like Studio: it is opaque, the task field is the chat composer with project, directive, role and file badges, questions use the same options as the chat and the window opens and closes with a short fade. The destination project is chosen with #project, while @ stays for files.
Quotas with a single ring indicator that follows the theme, in a non-modal popover that lists the provider of the model in use first; the quota-exhausted block appears in the tray above the composer with "Switch to … and resume".
The bottom bar shows only the Studio and omp versions and the state of the open lane's agent.
Files and Git column like VS Code: icons coloured by language, names tinted by Git status, files excluded by .gitignore dimmed and indent guides; the branch menu is a popover and Pull, Push and Sync are highlighted only when there is something to do.
Agent panel with the Queue, Sessions and Rules tabs as a selector with counts; queued task prompts are formatted, a click on the text opens or closes it and never starts the task, and "Start", "New lane" and "Edit" stay visible in compact view too.
The Task Editor writes like the chat: the same @file and /command tags, screenshot thumbnails, "Save" (Ctrl+Enter) as the main action with "Start now" and "Start in new lane" next to it; role, model, thinking and editor context are visible under the prompt and directives are chips.
Central column, Studio Browser and Lab with a single 32 px bar, editor tabs with an amber dot for unsaved changes, banners on a neutral surface and the Mermaid whiteboard following the theme.
The terminal is stopped from the column header with the same button as the chat; the quota banner above the terminal is gone because the TUI already shows the error, and the terminal uses the full column height.
Column tabs read as a phrase: "Files · Git · Agent" on the left, "Terminal · GUI" on the right.
Cleaner chat: no line between conversation and composer, a round send button, headings never smaller than the text, the tool call list open by default and pinned to the latest call, and the @ and / palette above the cursor line.
Todos, subagents and jobs use the tray's neutral status marks; a subagent's panel shows its work formatted and keeps the keyboard while open.
Stable "Recent activity" order in the project bar: a project moves to the front only when an agent starts working, Ctrl+Tab walks through all projects without bouncing between the first two, and the order survives a restart.
The project picker (+) shows only folders not yet open and the available remote repositories.
Faster startup: only the active project's agent starts right away, the others one at a time in the background (immediately for those with queued tasks); files open without waiting for git, files over 5 MB or binary show a notice, and no background git checks run while Studio is minimised.
Studio records startup, file opening, session loading and git command timings in perf-trace.log, in the logs folder, to find where time is lost.
On macOS the composer shortcuts (Alt+R, Alt+N, Alt+1…) are used with Control+Option, so Option types characters such as € ç ñ again; outside the composer Control+Option stays with the global shortcuts.
"Disconnect" in the GitHub section disconnects Studio only; when access goes through the GitHub CLI a dialog asks whether to sign out of gh too. The saved token is readable only by its owner (macOS and Linux).
On Linux the GitHub section points to cli.github.com to install the CLI.
macOS is supported on Apple Silicon (M chips).
Removed
The spinner on working project tabs: the dot already shows the state.
The "Lab" button in the top bar: prototypes open per project from the popover or the lane row.
The old Lab features: comparing 3-5 variants, preview annotations, the dedicated Chromium renderer, export as a Vite project and hand-off packages to the main session. Prototypes created with 1.6.0 are not imported: they stay on disk in <project>/proto/<id>/ and drafts (on Windows) in %LOCALAPPDATA%\omp-studio\lab\drafts.
Fixed
The chat no longer falls minutes behind while the agent writes long files, and "No answer … within 60s" errors no longer appear on an apparently idle session: Studio receives only the new parts of messages from omp.
An error while handling an event no longer blocks all later chat updates, leaving it on "Running".
The bar under the composer no longer stays on "starting..." while the agent works, and the picker shows the model in use.
When resuming a session, assistant text and tool calls come back in their real order.
The chat follows new content again when you scroll back to the bottom after reading earlier messages.
In the composer the chosen role stays the one shown even when several roles use the same model, and Ctrl+P really walks through every role in the cycle.
In agent questions, Enter on the "No" button answers "No" instead of "Yes", and a double Enter no longer sends the answer twice.
With IME input (Japanese, Chinese, dead keys) Enter confirms the character without sending the message.
Pasting text from Word, Excel or Outlook inserts the text instead of an attached image.
The agent's task tool no longer deletes the screenshots, title, model and editor context of queued tasks when it adds or edits a task.
A task's role no longer truncates models with a colon in their name (for example ollama/qwen3:32b).
Tooltips close on click on pills, badges and buttons, appear after 300 ms and no longer repeat the labels of close buttons.
The quota popover opens even with several accounts linked to the same provider: each account has its own section.
Updating omp from the bottom bar also works on macOS with Studio opened from Finder or the Dock, and the displayed version updates when omp is replaced.
Sessions stored in folders with unrecognised names no longer disappear from the project history.
The preview of prototypes created by the agent (studio_preview) no longer stays black: it runs in a sandbox with its own security rules and pinned library versions, and an error shows the real message. Prototypes with icons created before need to be regenerated.
On startup Studio no longer reopens a prototype preview from a previous session, and switching previews quickly no longer shows the previous file.
Closing a terminal while it starts no longer leaves an omp process in the background; on macOS and Linux closing a chat or quitting Studio also stops the processes started by the agent, and temporary session configuration files no longer stay in the temp folder.
When Studio closes, the latest project and lane changes are saved.
The Companion shortcut closes the window even when the interface does not respond; Escape closes the suggestion palette without closing the window and the pin is always visible.
With the Lab disabled, Ctrl+Alt+P opens the setting that enables it instead of doing nothing.
The English interface no longer shows Italian text in settings, chat, tools, code blocks, the built-in browser, the Git panel, the file tree, the editor, the terminal, the top bar "Queue" button, Doctor checks and task directives.
With a narrow chat column, for example next to a prototype preview, the composer keeps its side margin and role, model, thinking and prewalk scroll horizontally instead of overflowing the edge; the send button always stays visible.
The macOS app downloaded from the DMG opens instead of being reported as "damaged": the whole bundle is signed (ad-hoc signature). Until it is notarised, the first launch requires System Settings › Privacy & Security › "Open Anyway".
On Linux updating replaces the running AppImage and restarts Studio; with the .deb package Studio stays open and explains how to finish the installation.
The Studio update shows the SHA-256 fingerprint as verified only after the download.
Updating on the Nightly channel no longer fails with a 404 error right after a release and no longer falls back to an older build's installer.
