Initial release. Your Android phone on your Mac, from anywhere.

Install

  • Phone: Bridge-0.1.0.apk for Android 11+, arm64. Open it and allow installs from your browser.
  • Mac: Bridge-0.1.0.dmg, drag Bridge to Applications.

Then pair once: USB debugging on, plug in, Set Up Over USB in Bridge's menu on the Mac. Full steps in the README.

Highlights

  • Screen mirroring with audio over an encrypted iroh tunnel; works on cellular and through VPNs
  • No ADB port left open on the network during a session; USB debugging switched on only when needed
  • Notifications and clipboard over Bluetooth LE when the phone is nearby
  • Pairing secret on every stream, helper connection and Bluetooth link
  • Nearby only by default. The Mac wakes the tunnel for a session and the phone switches it back off after
