What changed

  • Resolve citation metadata through Zotero or Mendeley using local CSL-JSON/BibTeX exports or their REST APIs.
  • Use a shared reference metadata adapter with consistent match status, provenance, and PDF metadata fallback.
  • Configure Zotero Web API access with ZOTERO_API_KEY and ZOTERO_USER_ID; the README and reference metadata guide now include setup steps.
  • Update the literature intake skill and shared note templates to use provider-neutral reference fields.

Validation: 35 automated tests passed. Personal research context, Dashboard, Bases, and notes were excluded from this release.
