What's new in v0.3.0

  • Every CPU now gets an affinity recommendation — not just the ~40 models in the guide.
  • Intel 12th-gen and newer (P + E cores): automatic P-core mask. Before, these CPUs got no mask at all.
  • X3D, multi-CCD, and Threadripper CPUs: the mask is derived from your machine's real cache and core layout.
  • Alternate masks included for A/B testing with the built-in benchmark.
  • The exe is now fully self-contained — no Visual C++ runtime needed.

How to download

  1. Download the .zip below.
  2. Extract the folder anywhere.
  3. Run bdo-optimizer.exe.

Good to know:

  • Keep all files in the same folder — FPS capture and NVIDIA tweaks need the bundled tools next to the exe.
  • FPS capture needs Run as administrator. Everything else works without it.
  • SmartScreen warning on first run? The build is unsigned: click More info → Run anyway.
