SM127 Level Code Converter V0.4.3
Lots of smaller stuff changed:
- Object properties represented by integers in-game are now represented by longs in-code, since these values can sometimes be too large/small to fit in an integer
- Once again fixed a bug in the level re-arranger where tiles would be misplaced, hopefully for the last time
- The level re-arranger now better handles levels with an amount of areas greater than 10, and theoretically greater than 100 too, up to a max of 999 areas
- The level re-arranger now stops you from creating a level that exceeds the size limits of the level editor
- All objects now have default values which will be used if no value is provided by the level code
- Normalized most object names so that they are better grouped according to what type of object they are
SM127 Level Code Converter V0.4.2
Minor update to add support for converting levels made in SM127 v0.9.1
SM127 Level Code Converter V0.4.1
Changes from previous version:
- Added support for converting levels made in SM127 v0.9.0
- Fixed a bug where tile properties weren't being properly set, the level re-arranger functionality has also been fixed as a result (for real this time)
SM127 Level Code Converter V0.4.0
The fourth major of the Level Code Converter to go along with the release of SM127 v0.8.0
Here's what's new in the converter:
- Added support for converting levels made in 0.8.0
- The program will now ask which game version a level was made in if it cannot determine it from the level code version (should be the case for most versions aside from 0.7.0)
- Background palettes now have a greater effect during the conversion process, when relevant
- Finally fixed the area Re-arranger functionality! You can now place areas above, below, and all around each other without stuff breaking :)
SM127 Level Code Converter V0.3.4
Changes:
- The downloaded zip folder is now deleted once everything has been extracted from it
- Any files that were in the old input folder are now copied over to the new input folder
SM127 Level Code Converter V0.3.3
The auto-updater has been changed to use pure Java instead of using the program wget. As such, wget has been removed entirely.
New versions gotten from the auto-updater are now put in a folder outside of the currently updating Code Converter and are also self-extracted.
SM127 Level Code Converter V0.3.2
Small update to the program that adds an auto-updater (which uses wget, so that is included as well)
Now the program will check for updates each time it is run and download new versions as needed, instead of just relying on the user to check for updates manually.
SM127 Level Code Converter V0.3.1
Minor update mainly just to finally include support for multi-area levels. Some bugs I found in the previous version were also fixed.
This will likely be the final minor version for 0.3, unless I find more bugs that need fixing. Releases for V0.4 and beyond will depend on new versions of SM127 coming out.
SM127 Level Code Converter V0.3
The third and probably final major release of the Level Code Converter (at least until a new version of SM127 comes out.)
- Added conversion support for game versions 0.6.0, 0.7.0, and 0.7.1 (game versions 0.6.1 and 0.7.2 still work)
- Every data type used in level codes now has its own class, which the converter uses to make sure the data it's receiving is valid
- A proper file handler was added, now the program can recreate folders as it needs them
- Logging has been added, view program logs for troubleshooting problems you come across
- Object classes now hold values for all properties they would have in-game. This doesn't have any effect on the conversion process, it's moreso just for debugging
SM127 Level Code Converter V0.2.1
A hotfix release that fixes a bug where Snow tiles would be erroneously converted to Grass tiles.
