How do I make Byrdle Beak textures?
This guide could be considered out of date and needs a bit of a rewrite!
-
First things first, go to the mod's own HomebreweryFiles > Mouth > Byrdle folder

-
Make a new folder and name it something recognisable, and avoid using spaces or punctuation marks like apostrophes.

-
Put one or two PNG images in the folder, ideally 128px width by 128px height, since that seems to work out nicest in-game. Any resolution above 9x9px is allowed but aim to stick to this 1:1 aspect ratio for the best results.
The images must be named as follows:
"beak" or "closed" because it's technically using a mouth texture group, but please don't name it closed lmao
"open" or "opened" (Optional for if you want a different texture when it is open)

You MUST have a beak / closed PNG for the 'Mouth' to be valid and be imported to the game! If you do not provide an open / opened PNG, the mod will duplicate the beak / closed PNG to use as a filler. (If it didn't then the opened beak would disappear due to missing the texture lol)

While in the character creator, you can press F to make the character open their beak!
