This document provides general legal information about the CeloHT project. It explains the project's legal principles, intellectual property, governance framework, compliance commitments, and user responsibilities.

CeloHT is an open-source, community-driven initiative focused on:

CeloHT operates through transparent community governance as described in GOVERNANCE.md.
CeloHT is developed as an open-source project.
Unless otherwise stated, participation in CeloHT does not create:

Contributors participate voluntarily unless a separate written agreement exists.
CeloHT software and documentation are released under the Apache License, Version 2.0 unless otherwise specified.
