Document Type: Publications & Knowledge Repository
Project: CeloHT
Status: Active
Last Updated: August 2026
Authors: Johnny Dubic & CeloHT Community
CeloHT produces and maintains educational, technical, research, governance, environmental, and community-oriented publications.
The purpose of this document is to establish a structured framework for documenting, organizing, publishing, maintaining, and referencing CeloHT's knowledge resources.
CeloHT publications are intended to make the project's work more understandable, transparent, reproducible, and accessible to the communities and contributors it serves.
CeloHT publications follow these principles:
Information should be reviewed for factual and technical accuracy before publication.
Material claims should be supported by appropriate evidence whenever possible.
Publications should use language appropriate for their intended audience and avoid unnecessary technical complexity.
Important publications should be versioned so that changes can be identified over time.
Authors, contributors, sources, and collaborators should receive appropriate attribution.
Publications must avoid misleading claims regarding financial returns, environmental impact, adoption, technical capabilities, or project performance.
CeloHT publications may include:
Educational materials
Research papers
Technical documentation
Governance documents
Policy documents
Program reports
Impact reports
Environmental reports
Community reports
Tutorials
Guides
Whitepapers
Case studies
Success stories
Announcements
Press materials
Annual reports
Educational publications help participants understand financial inclusion, blockchain, Web3, and digital technologies.
Examples include:
WEB3_101.mdFinancial literacy materials
Wallet guides
Blockchain tutorials
Celo ecosystem educational resources
Security guides
Beginner documentation
Advanced technical tutorials
Educational materials should clearly identify their intended audience.
Technical publications document CeloHT's technology and infrastructure.
Examples include:
Architecture documentation
System design
Smart-contract documentation
SDK documentation
API documentation
Testing documentation
Security documentation
Performance documentation
Deployment documentation
Versioning documentation
Technical documents should be updated when significant implementation changes occur.
CeloHT may publish research related to:
Financial inclusion
Digital finance
Blockchain adoption
Web3 education
Community development
Environmental initiatives
Digital identity
Decentralized systems
Entrepreneurship
Technology accessibility
Research publications should clearly distinguish research findings from opinions, assumptions, and future hypotheses.
Where CeloHT publishes research, the publication should identify, where applicable:
Research question
Background
Methodology
Data sources
Sample
Limitations
Findings
Analysis
Conclusions
References
Research should not imply a level of certainty that the available evidence does not support.
Governance publications document how the CeloHT community organizes and makes decisions.
Relevant materials may include:
GOVERNANCE.mdVOTING_SYSTEM.mdWORKING_GROUPS.mdGovernance proposals
Governance decisions
Community resolutions
Treasury decisions
Policy updates
Governance records should preserve sufficient historical context to understand major decisions.
CeloHT may publish reports describing its programs and initiatives.
Program publications may include:
Objectives
Activities
Participants
Resources
Results
Challenges
Lessons learned
KPIs
Future plans
Program reporting should distinguish between planned activities and completed activities.
Environmental publications may document CeloHT's reforestation and sustainability activities.
Possible publications include:
Planting reports
Tree survival reports
Environmental education materials
Community restoration reports
Environmental impact assessments
Environmental claims should use clearly defined measurements.
For example:
Planned trees are not equivalent to planted trees.
Planted trees are not equivalent to verified surviving trees.
Community publications can document:
Community events
Training sessions
Workshops
Community achievements
Volunteer activities
Agent activities
Local initiatives
Community feedback
Personal information should not be published without an appropriate basis or consent where required.
Whitepapers may provide comprehensive explanations of CeloHT's:
Mission
Vision
Architecture
Programs
Governance
Business model
Technology
Environmental initiatives
Community strategy
Long-term roadmap
Whitepapers should be treated as strategic documentation rather than promises of future performance.
Case studies may document specific examples of CeloHT activities.
A case study should ideally include:
Context
Problem
Intervention
Implementation
Result
Challenges
Lessons learned
Future implications
Where participant stories are used, appropriate permission and privacy protections should be considered.
Success stories communicate examples of meaningful community outcomes.
They should be based on genuine experiences and should avoid:
Fabricated testimonials
Unverified claims
Misleading statistics
Guaranteed financial outcomes
Exaggerated impact
Success stories should represent the broader evidence responsibly.
CeloHT should maintain a structured publication repository.
A possible structure is:
publications/
├── education/
├── research/
├── technical/
├── governance/
├── programs/
├── environment/
├── community/
├── reports/
└── archived/
The exact repository structure may evolve as the project grows.
Important publications should contain metadata such as:
Title
Author(s)
Contributors
Publication date
Version
Status
Category
Language
Repository location
Related documents
Example:
title: CeloHT Web3 Education Guide
version: 1.0
status: published
language: English
category: Education
Publications should use consistent versioning.
Example:
1.0.0— Initial publication1.1.0— Substantial content addition1.1.1— Minor correction2.0.0— Major restructuring
Versioning may be adapted to the importance and nature of the document.
A publication generally follows:
Draft → Review → Approved → Published → Maintained → Archived
The document is being prepared.
Content is evaluated for accuracy, clarity, security, and consistency.
The publication has passed the applicable review process.
The document is publicly available.
Updates are made when necessary.
The document is retained for historical reference but is no longer actively maintained.
Depending on publication type, reviews may include:
Checks language, structure, and readability.
Checks technical accuracy.
Checks for potentially sensitive or security-related information.
Used when content creates legal, regulatory, contractual, or financial implications.
Used when community governance or public participation is relevant.
Not every document requires every review category.
Before publishing important documents, CeloHT should verify:
Claims are supported.
Dates are correct.
Links work.
Metrics have definitions.
Sources are identified.
Sensitive information is removed.
Terminology is consistent.
Version information is present.
Related documents are updated when necessary.
Publications should use appropriate references when external information is relied upon.
References may include:
Academic research
Official blockchain documentation
Government sources
Standards organizations
Official project documentation
Technical specifications
Public datasets
CeloHT should prefer primary and authoritative sources whenever practical.
If a material error is discovered after publication, CeloHT should:
Verify the error.
Correct the publication.
Update the version where appropriate.
Document the correction when material.
Notify affected readers when necessary.
Corrections should not silently alter historical records when doing so would undermine transparency.
CeloHT may publish materials in multiple languages, including:
Haitian Creole
French
English
Translations should preserve the meaning and technical accuracy of the original publication.
Where differences exist between translated versions, the authoritative version should be clearly identified.
Where appropriate, CeloHT encourages open access to educational and technical knowledge.
Open publication supports:
Community learning
Collaboration
Transparency
Reproducibility
Contributor participation
Independent review
Certain information may remain restricted when disclosure could create security, privacy, legal, or operational risks.
Publications may contain:
Original CeloHT content
Contributor-created content
Open-source material
Third-party references
Licensed assets
Content should be used according to the applicable license or permission.
Copyright and licensing information should be included where relevant.
Authors and contributors should be credited appropriately.
Attribution may include:
Primary authors
Co-authors
Editors
Technical reviewers
Research contributors
Community contributors
Partner organizations
Attribution does not automatically imply organizational authority.
Major strategic publications may require review or approval according to CeloHT governance procedures.
Examples include:
Major policy documents
Strategic whitepapers
Governance frameworks
Financial reports
Major impact reports
Public statements with significant organizational implications
Routine documentation may follow normal contributor workflows.
Publications must not expose information that could unnecessarily compromise:
Private keys
Passwords
Authentication credentials
API secrets
Personal data
Internal security mechanisms
Sensitive infrastructure information
Secrets must never be committed to public repositories.
Where appropriate, CeloHT may monitor:
Publication views
Downloads
Course completion
Tutorial engagement
Community feedback
Citation activity
Contribution activity
Analytics should be used to improve knowledge resources rather than to create misleading popularity claims.
Superseded publications should be archived when historical preservation is important.
Archived documents should clearly indicate:
Archived status
Original publication date
Last active version
Replacement document, if applicable
Historical records should remain distinguishable from current guidance.
CeloHT may maintain an index containing:
Publication | Category | Version | Status -- | -- | -- | -- Whitepaper | Strategy | — | Active Web3 101 | Education | — | Active Governance | Governance | — | Active Security | Security | — | Active Performance | Technical | — | Active Reforestation | Environment | — | Active Roadmap | Strategy | — | ActiveThe index should be updated as new publications are created.
Major CeloHT documents should generally follow:
Title
Overview
Purpose
Scope
Definitions
Main Content
Evidence / References
Limitations
Related Documents
Version History
Authors / Contributors
The structure may be adapted to the document's purpose.
CeloHT publications should not intentionally:
Fabricate data
Manipulate statistics
Misrepresent partnerships
Invent testimonials
Claim unverified achievements
Hide material limitations
Present speculation as established fact
Present financial education as financial advice
Misrepresent environmental outcomes
Responsible publication is part of CeloHT's commitment to trust.
Documentation becomes outdated when technology, programs, governance, or policies change.
CeloHT should periodically review important publications and determine whether they should be:
Updated
Replaced
Deprecated
Archived
Broken links and outdated references should be corrected where practical.
CeloHT views publications as part of its long-term knowledge infrastructure.
The purpose is not simply to produce documents, but to create a reliable body of knowledge that allows participants, contributors, researchers, partners, and the broader community to understand what CeloHT does, how it works, what it has achieved, what remains uncertain, and where it is going.
