Locks & Keys Compatibility

Andy's Automatic Doors is compatible with Andy's Locks & Keys 0.11.3 or newer. The companion add-on is optional.

For a locked configured entrance, Automatic Doors uses the established Better Double Doors interoperability request. Locks & Keys—not Automatic Doors—checks ownership, held keys, group access, shared-player access, Master Keys, lockpicking access, and public access before opening.

• Automatic Doors cannot grant authorization or bypass a lock.
• Authorized opening is performed by Locks & Keys and follows its normal rules.
• If Locks & Keys is absent, unavailable, or denies access, an automatic action on a locked entrance fails closed.
• An ordinary unlocked entrance works normally whether or not Locks & Keys is installed.
