Getting Started

Minecraft Bedrock 26.30 or newer is required. Cheats and gameplay experiments are not required.

Install

  1. Download Andys_Better_Double_Doors_0.1.15.mcaddon from the GitHub repository or the official CurseForge project.
  2. Open it with Minecraft Bedrock.
  3. Edit or create the world where you want it installed.
  4. Activate Andy's Better Double Doors [BP] under Behavior Packs.
  5. Confirm Andy's Better Double Doors [RP] is active under Resource Packs.
  6. Enter the world and build a valid matching entrance.

Back up an important world before installing or updating any add-on. Consoles generally cannot import local .mcaddon files directly; import on Windows or mobile, upload the prepared world to a Realm, and join from the console.

Your first entrance

Place two matching oak doors adjacent to one another with the same facing. Use either one normally. Both doors open or close together.

The same default-on behavior applies to matching double fence gates, matching adjacent double trapdoors, and matching 2×2 quad trapdoors.
