Features and Configuration
Open the world editor, select Behavior Packs > Active, choose Andy's Silk Touch Relics, then select the gear icon. These settings belong to the world and are controlled by its owner.
| Relic | Default cost | Required collection action |
|---|---|---|
| Monster Spawner | 5 Diamond Blocks or 32 Iron Blocks | Diamond or Netherite Silk Touch Pickaxe; mine normally |
| Trial Spawner | 5 Diamond Blocks or 32 Iron Blocks | Diamond or Netherite Silk Touch Pickaxe; crouch + Mine/Attack |
| Budding Amethyst | 5 Diamond Blocks | Diamond or Netherite Silk Touch Pickaxe; mine normally |
| Trial Chamber Vault | 10 Diamond Blocks | Diamond or Netherite Silk Touch Pickaxe; crouch + Mine/Attack |
| Stronghold End Portal Frame | 16 Netherite Blocks | Netherite Silk Touch Pickaxe; crouch + Mine/Attack |
Monster Spawners and Trial Spawners are separate categories and require their own unlocks when payment is enabled.
Every relic category has its own Require Payment toggle. All five default to On.
- Turn the toggle on to require that category's configured one-time Survival payment.
- Turn it off to make that category immediately free and enabled for all players. Nothing is consumed, and players do not need to purchase it through SilkyControl.
- Mix settings freely. One category can be free while another stays paid.
Making a category free does not delete its world-wide or per-player purchase records. If the owner turns payment on again, the previously saved purchase and enabled state become active again. Free categories are shown as FREE - ENABLED in SilkyControl.
Payment settings do not bypass the basic mining rules. A free relic still needs the proper Silk Touch Pickaxe, the correct action, Survival mode, and an enabled master feature setting.
Choose how paid unlocks apply:
- Entire World: one purchase and enabled state apply to everyone. This is the default and is useful for cooperative worlds and Realms.
- Each Player Separately: every player pays for and controls their own relic features.
The world-wide and per-player ledgers are stored separately. Changing the scope does not erase either one; switching back restores the state saved for that scope.
The owner can independently enable or disable each relic category. A category that is off cannot be purchased or harvested, even if it was already unlocked or marked free. Its unlock record is not erased and returns when the feature is enabled again.
Every slider accepts a value from 1 through 64 blocks.
- Monster Spawner: Diamond Blocks and Iron Blocks (alternative prices).
- Trial Spawner: Diamond Blocks and Iron Blocks (alternative prices).
- Budding Amethyst: Diamond Blocks.
- Trial Chamber Vault: Diamond Blocks.
- Stronghold End Portal Frame: Netherite Blocks.
Spawner payment choices are alternatives, not a combined recipe. The player selects either the configured Diamond Block amount or Iron Block amount, and only the chosen currency is consumed.
Payments use exact Diamond Block, Iron Block, or Netherite Block items in the paying player's hotbar and main inventory. Items inside containers such as Shulker Boxes and Bundles are not counted or consumed.
