Getting Started

Install on Windows, Android, iPhone, or iPad

  1. Download Andys_Silk_Touch_Relics_v1.6.1.mcaddon from the official CurseForge project or GitHub release.
  2. Open the file with Minecraft.
  3. Wait for Minecraft to confirm that both packs imported.
  4. Create a new Survival world or edit an eligible existing world.
  5. Open Behavior Packs > My Packs and activate Andy's Silk Touch Relics.
  6. Confirm that Andy's Silk Touch Relics Resources is active. It is linked and should activate automatically.
  7. Leave Cheats and all Experiment toggles disabled.
  8. Select the active Behavior Pack's gear icon to choose your settings before entering the world.

Back up important worlds before adding or updating any add-on.

Console play

Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch generally cannot import an arbitrary local .mcaddon file. Import and activate the add-on on Windows or mobile, upload that prepared world to a Realm, then join the Realm from the console. Realm members receive the required packs through Minecraft.

First join

Each player receives a signed Silky Guide on their first spawn in a world with the add-on. It summarizes the relics, costs, tools, and controls. The guide is given once per player. If the inventory is full, it drops at the player's feet.

Open SilkyControl

SilkyControl is available to normal players and does not require Cheats.

Named stick

  1. Put a vanilla Stick in an Anvil.
  2. Rename it exactly SilkyControl with no space.
  3. Hold the renamed stick and press Use/Place.

If using the stick in the air does not register on a device, aim at a solid block and press Use/Place.

Chat command

Enter this exact command in chat:

/andy_stms:silkycontrol

Custom Bedrock commands must include their namespace. The command is designed to work with Cheats turned off.

Updating a world

  1. Save and leave the world.
  2. Import the newer .mcaddon file.
  3. Edit the world and confirm the new version is active under Behavior Packs.
  4. If Minecraft retained an older active copy, remove that older copy and make sure the linked Resource Pack remains active.
  5. Re-enter the world and review the Behavior Pack settings.

Version 1.6.1 adds independent payment toggles. Existing paid unlock records and configured price values are retained.
