Lven Instant 0.8.22 (Windows)

@Ranjitbarnala0 Ranjitbarnala0 released this 26 Aug 23:56

Dictated numbers now arrive as numbers. "four point eight" becomes 4.8,
"twenty percent" becomes 20%, "five dollars and fifty cents" becomes $5.50,
"the twenty first" becomes the 21st, and "five thirty pm" becomes 5:30 PM.
Spoken years and digit strings a model did not format are deliberately left
alone rather than guessed at.

Text now comes out identical on every platform. The desktop and phone engines
disagreed on non-ASCII input — a CRLF line break, an accented letter written
two different ways, a non-breaking space — so the same sentence could differ
depending on where you dictated it.

An accented word preceded by its own first letter no longer loses that letter.

Transcription now uses every physical core. The thread count was derived in a
way that handed half the machine to any CPU without hyper-threading, which is
every Apple-silicon and most ARM machines.

Cleanup of a finished transcript is roughly three times faster on ordinary
sentences.

The offline entitlement window is now measured against the server's clock and
elapsed runtime instead of the local date.

dictation reaches WhatsApp Desktop again. its message box lives in an embedded browser that runs as a separate process, so the field search never saw it — the search now follows the process tree into that window, and accepts a focused field there instead of demanding it share the host window's process id.

Lven Instant 0.8.19 (Linux)

Lven Instant — Linux 0.8.19

The archive now behaves like the Cloud one. It carries a top-level launcher, so
./lven-linux works from the extracted directory without knowing the layout,
plus install.sh and uninstall.sh for a proper system install and a clean removal.

The Debian package ships a man page and a changelog, its copyright file is a
valid machine-readable one, and per-file checksums ship beside every artifact.

On Wayland the window now associates with its desktop entry, so the dock shows
the Lven icon and name instead of a generic placeholder.

Both clean-machine installs pass on Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04.

Text now comes out identical to the desktop apps. The phone engine treated
non-ASCII input differently — an accented letter written two different ways, a
non-breaking space, an Arabic-Indic digit — so the same sentence could differ
depending on where you dictated it.

An accented word preceded by its own first letter no longer loses that letter.

Cleanup of a finished transcript is roughly three times faster on ordinary

Lven Instant 0.9.30 (Android)

On-device voice-to-text for Android.

This release binds the offline licence to the account it was issued to, closing a gap where a licence file could entitle another device. Fail-safe: a paid, offline device is never wrongly locked out.

Install the arm64 APK on modern phones; the armeabi-v7a APK is for older 32-bit devices. Verify against SHA256SUMS-0.9.30.txt.
