SpaceSharp 1.1.1 adds installers with automatic updates. Pick whichever download suits you.

File For
SpaceSharp-win-x64.msi A standard Windows installer. Choose to install just for you or for everyone on the PC.
SpaceSharp-win-Setup.exe One-click install to your user profile. No questions, no admin rights.
SpaceSharp.exe A single portable file. Nothing to install.

Both installers keep SpaceSharp up to date: when a new version is out, the app offers to install it, and the update takes a few seconds. The portable exe doesn't update itself; download the new version when you want it.

To install to a folder of your choice, run the setup from a terminal:
SpaceSharp-win-Setup.exe --installto "D:\Apps\SpaceSharp"

Also in this release

  • Check for updates in the About window, and a setting to turn the startup check off.
  • Installer pages with a short getting-started guide.

Notes

  • Windows SmartScreen may warn about the downloads because they aren't code-signed. Click More info, then Run anyway.
  • Your settings from earlier versions are kept.
  • If you were using the portable 1.1.0 exe and want automatic updates from now on, install with the MSI or Setup.exe once.
