Solid Self 1.2.0
Player heads are solid too
Version 1.1.0 fixed the player model, but player heads still used the translucent render type. With shaders they looked see-through and were skipped by world outlines.
Fixed
- Player heads are now solid: placed heads, heads in item frames, held heads and heads worn by players, mobs or armor stands
- They get world outlines like every other mob head
- The toggle key switches player heads as well

Solid Self 1.1.0
First public release
Solid Self fixes players rendering see-through and being ignored by shader effects when using Iris shaders on Minecraft 26.x (Iris issue #3105).
Features
- Players are rendered with the cutout render type instead of translucent, so they are drawn together with all other solid entities
- Players are no longer see-through from certain camera angles, e.g. looking towards the sky in third person
- Shader effects like world outlines apply to players again
- Works for your own player and for other players, in singleplayer and on servers
- Toggle in-game: bind a key under Options → Controls → Key Binds → Solid Self (unbound by default)
- The on/off state is saved in
config/solidself.properties - English and German translations
Requirements
| Minecraft | 26.2 |
| Loader | Fabric Loader 0.19.0 or newer |
| Dependency | Fabric API |
| Java | 25 |
| Side | Client only |
Known limitation
Semi-transparent skin pixels are shown either fully visible or fully invisible (Iris issue #3135).
