Getting Started
- Get Lodestar from CurseForge or a GitHub release.
- Extract it into
World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOnsso you haveAddOns\Lodestar\Lodestar.toc. - Restart the client or
/reload.
Left-click the minimap button for the full window. Right-click for Compact Mode. /ls also opens and closes the window.
Lodestar works on its own. Optional Addons unlock extra behaviour if they are loaded. Without them, those parts stay quiet instead of guessing.
Every goal starts off. The window opens on the welcome page at your first login, and nothing is ranked until you pick at least one goal. It says there and then that Settings can change your answer at any time.
The reason it asks instead of guessing: a goal that is off silently removes recommendations, and a player who never chose those defaults has no way to know what is missing.
Existing installs are left alone. Goals you already chose count as an answer, so the welcome page never interrupts an upgrade.
Pick anything that applies:
- Great Vault & endgame
- Solo content
- Prey hunts
- Professions
- Mounts
- Reputation
- Questing
- Gold making
You can change this later in Settings → Goals, including Select all / Clear all. An empty Today's Plan explains itself and routes back to goal picking.
See Ranking for how those choices turn into cards, and Workspaces for where the plan lives.
