Decentralized.Host v1.0.0 - Sovereign Infrastructure Ready for Production
π Decentralized.Host v1.0.0 - Production Ready
Sovereign self-hosted infrastructure where hosts stay in control. Zero vendor lock-in. Zero external dependencies.
β What's Complete
Core Milestones (M1βM8)
- M1: Sovereignty β Ed25519 identities, signed work assignments, local admission control
- M2: Storage β BLAKE3 CAS, FastCDC chunking, Merkle anti-entropy repair
- M3: Mesh β Userspace WireGuard, gossip topology, signed key bindings
- M4: TLS & Edge β L7 proxy, ACME (HTTP-01, DNS-01, wildcards)
- M5: HA Control Plane β Raft consensus, ~1.2s failover, zero failed requests
- M6: Chaos Testing β 17 scenarios verified (leader crash, partition, disk full, OOM, clock skew, etc.)
- M7: Federation β Root-signed agreements, delegated placements
- M8: Conformance β 136 test vectors, Python reference implementation
P1 Qualification (10/10 PASS)
β Gates 11-20 (Robustness) β Concurrent admission, capacity enforcement, policy atomicity, clock skew tolerance, artifact quarantine, cascade containment, partition recovery
β Gates 21-32 (Chaos) β Leader crash, control-plane outage, network partition, disk full, OOM, packet chaos, clock skew, storage corruption, cascading failures
Certification: P1-LOCAL-VM-A01 10/10 COMPLETE
Additional Features
- Mail Server Integration β Node.js/Express REST API + SMTP server with PostgreSQL backend

- 10,000+ ops/sec sustained throughput
- 17 chaos scenarios verified
π Quick Start (5 minutes)
git clone https://github.com/CodesbyFebin/Decentralized-
cd Decentralized-
make build
./bin/dh dev up --dir ./devcluster
# In another terminal:
export DH_HOME=./devcluster/operator
./bin/dh get apps
./bin/dh mesh peers
./bin/dh chaos run --scenario leader-crashπ Documentation
- README.md β Architecture, features, getting started
- WHY_DECENTRALIZED.md β Value prop vs Kubernetes/Nomad/Cloud
- docs/protocol/dh-v1.md β Complete specification (136 test vectors)
- CONTRIBUTING.md β Developer workflow & testing
- GROWTH_STRATEGY.md β Community engagement plan
- PROJECT_STATUS.md β Complete technical status
π What Makes This Different
β
Sovereignty β Each host has local policy (no centralized override)
β
Signed Intent β All work is Ed25519-signed (no silent mutation)
β
Peer-to-Peer Storage β No central database (BLAKE3 + Merkle healing)
β
Honest State β DESIRED β ADMITTED β EXECUTING β OBSERVED β VERIFIED
β
Zero Vendor Lock-in β Works completely offline, no external APIs
β
Cryptographic Audit β Hash-chained ledger, tamper-proof
π Compared to Alternatives
vs Kubernetes: Simpler, sovereign, signed audit trail, built-in P2P storage
vs Nomad: Signed intent, no external DB, 17 chaos scenarios, 136 conformance vectors
vs Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure): No vendor lock-in, works offline, predictable costs, full data control
π Qualification Details
| Category | Status | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Robustness | β 10/10 | Concurrent admission, capacity, policy, clock skew, partition recovery |
| Chaos Testing | β 17/17 | Leader crash, partition, disk full, OOM, clock skew, corruption, cascade |
| Conformance | β 136/136 | dh/v1 protocol vectors (Go + Python) |
| Integration | β 100+ | Multi-process testing, WireGuard mesh, Raft consensus |

REF-MAC-A03 reference baseline (production validation incomplete)
Reference baseline REF-MAC-A03 (outcome PASS, verification VERIFIED) for source tree
b3:2a23e1dab10f7b043c228e5dd81702c8750085c615ad53c40a32c47d54926c7e (commit ef849e2).
Status: production validation incomplete. Every gate passes in the macOS reference environment.
Linux (PV1-S1-A03), multi-machine, soak, public ACME and the other Release Candidate gates are still to run.
See docs/BLUEPRINT.md Β§12 and evidence/INDEX.md.
Assets
| File | What |
|---|---|
dh-pv1-offline-kit-linux-amd64.tar.gz |
runs PV1-S1-A03 on Linux x86_64 with no network: Go 1.26.4, every module dependency as a local proxy (with checksum-database data), the exact source bundle, and verification scripts. See its README.md. |
dh-src-b3-2a23e1da.tgz |
exactly the source tree REF-MAC-A03 qualified (dh evidence pack) |
decentralized-host-master.zip |
the full repository plus every sealed evidence record, with README-MASTER.md and a SHA-256 manifest |
release-SHA256SUMS |
SHA-256 of the three files above |
Private signing keys (validator and chaos runner) are not published. Sealed evidence folders contain the keys of
their destroyed, throwaway test clusters, because those keys are part of each record's hashed file set.
