Hosted Preview

Use the hosted Android preview

The hosted preview runs the recorded Android candidate in a browser-accessible emulator. It exists to let a reader inspect the native interface without installing Android Studio or fixing local KVM. It is separate from this website's sample phone frame. The preview should be introduced as Hosted Android emulator — launch and navigation check only. That sentence explains both its value and its ceiling.

Open a session deliberately

Follow the Appetize link from the website and wait for the Android screen to render. Read any session controls supplied by the hosting service. Open EdgeORE and inspect the available destinations. Before interpreting a screen as evidence, locate About and compare its source stamp with the APK identity in the ledger. If the stamp differs, the session is a different artifact, even if the interface looks familiar.

A successful cold launch means the app rendered its first usable screen without an observed crash in that session. Navigation means each destination opened and displayed a meaningful state. Neither result proves that the module completed its external operation. An AI page can render without a live model. A node form can render without a paired host. A receipt list can show an empty state without producing a real transfer receipt.

Use a bounded inspection checklist

Visit the overview, AI, storage, nodes and receipts destinations. Check text clipping, touch targets, scrolling, readable errors and sample-state labels. Open the review route if the app permits preparation without signing, and inspect its fields. Record an unavailable state as unavailable rather than filling it with a fake balance or invented network response. A hosted session is particularly useful for finding small-screen layout defects and missing explanations.

Do not enter a seed phrase, production private key or real-funds wallet into a public preview. A public review environment has different privacy and persistence assumptions from an owned device. If a development wallet is installed in a specialized session, its configuration and lifetime must be documented separately. The website should not promise that every visitor receives that wallet or can complete authorization simply because one operator could open a wallet sheet.

Collect screenshots honestly

Capture the visible Android frame at each destination and the About screen. Preserve the host profile and Android version. Keep the original images rather than cropping away all evidence of the environment. A marketing crop can be created later, but it should link back to the uncropped capture. Label concept renders, test screenshots and hosted captures differently; a polished phone outline is not enough to distinguish them.

Operator attribution belongs in the session note. In the recorded session, browser automation performed the capture. Do not rewrite that as a physical-device test or a user-held phone session. If subsequent screenshots come from a different operator, keep them in a new run directory with their own note. Combining unrelated captures into one apparent journey can imply continuity that was never observed.

Know when to stop

If the app launches but a wallet action returns to Not connected, the correct result is attempted and incomplete. Preserve the error if available, the screen before and after, and the wallet build identity. Do not repeat a costly hosted session indefinitely without new diagnostics. A useful next step is to inspect the app's typed wallet result handling and retry a diagnostic build, not to add a different SDK from a search result.

An Appetize recording can serve as an honest interface walkthrough. It must not be edited to imply a confirmed transfer, recovery after an interrupted send or successful real-receipt verification when those actions were not run. End the clip with the remaining gates visible. That gives evaluators a working native preview and a truthful understanding of what they still need to test.
