Easy Installer 0.2.2

Clearer uninstalling, found while testing on Linux Mint.

• The entry in an app's right-click menu is now called “Uninstall with Easy Installer…”, so it cannot be mistaken for the “Uninstall” of Linux Mint's menu (which only removes the menu entry of apps that are not packages).
• When an app's menu entry was deleted elsewhere, Easy Installer offers to uninstall the rest of the app, next to Repair.
• Easy Installer is now free software under the MIT license and has its own website: https://codingstukka.github.io/easy-installer/

Install or update: download easy-installer_0.2.2_all.deb below and double-click it, or in a terminal:

sudo apt install ./easy-installer_0.2.2_all.deb

Apps you installed before keep the old “Uninstall…” name in their right-click menu until they are updated or repaired.

Easy Installer 0.2.1

Install AppImages on Linux the easy way: double-click a download, click Install, and the app is in your app menu with its icon. Easy Installer also keeps your apps up to date and removes them cleanly.

Install: download easy-installer_0.2.1_all.deb below and double-click it, or in a terminal:

sudo apt install ./easy-installer_0.2.1_all.deb

Needs Ubuntu 24.04, Zorin OS 18 or newer (GTK 4.14, libadwaita 1.5).
