Easy Installer 0.2.1

Install AppImages on Linux the easy way: double-click a download, click Install, and the app is in your app menu with its icon. Easy Installer also keeps your apps up to date and removes them cleanly.

Install: download easy-installer_0.2.1_all.deb below and double-click it, or in a terminal:

sudo apt install ./easy-installer_0.2.1_all.deb

Needs Ubuntu 24.04, Zorin OS 18 or newer (GTK 4.14, libadwaita 1.5).

Highlights

• Installs AppImages and portable .zip / .tar apps for you or for everyone on the computer
• One-click updates (GitHub releases, zsync, electron-builder), Update All, and Go Back to the previous version
• Shows where an app was downloaded from and who signed it, and warns when the signer changes
• Fixes for Electron apps blocked by the sandbox on Ubuntu 24.04+ and for missing FUSE
• Uninstall with optional clean-up of the app's settings and data (moved to the trash)
