Collection of substitutions for Prettify Symbols Mode (Continued). Please add your own languages, recommendations, corrections and comments.

How to use the examples

The language pages list substitutions that go into the substitutions array of a language entry in your settings.json:

"prettifySymbols.substitutions": [{
    "language": "python",
    "substitutions": [
        { "ugly": "lambda", "pretty": "λ", "pre": "\\b", "post": "\\b" }
    ]
}]

The ugly, pre and post values are regular expressions inside a JSON string, so every backslash has to be written twice. See the Settings page for all options.

Note: the settings prefix is prettifySymbols. The original extension used prettifySymbolsMode; if you copy snippets from elsewhere, rename the key.

Each language page ends with an animation: the sample script as plain code, with the extension enabled, and with a symbol revealed by the cursor. The animations are rendered from the rules listed on the page (not screen recordings), so what you see is what these rules produce.
