Student Portfolio Guidelines

The purpose of the portfolio is to document meaningful and verifiable contributions made to projects within the CollabBee ecosystem.

Certification is based on evidence. Contributors are therefore responsible for ensuring that their work can be traced through the project's collaboration and documentation processes.

Requirements

• Work only on GitHub issues that have been formally assigned to you.
• Do not begin work on an issue without prior assignment or agreement.
• Pull requests must follow the prescribed project template.
• Contributions must be linked to the relevant issue whenever possible.
• Major decisions and changes should be documented through comments, discussions, or project notes.
• Work completed outside the project's documented processes may not be eligible for certification.
• Contributors are encouraged to maintain a personal portfolio of completed tasks, deliverables, research, documentation, prototypes, and learning outcomes.
• Collaboration, communication, and constructive participation are valued alongside technical contributions.

Evidence of Contribution

Examples of acceptable evidence include:

• Assigned GitHub issues
• Pull requests
• Documentation contributions
• Research notes
• Prototypes and demonstrations
• Community activities
• Meeting summaries and follow-up actions
• Testing and quality assurance activities

Review

When a certificate is requested, the founder reviews the available evidence associated with assigned issues, pull requests, project records, and other documented contributions.

Certification is awarded on the basis of documented contribution and demonstrated participation, not merely on the basis of time spent in a project. `
