First release of Lintel AI, a desktop code reviewer powered by a local Ollama model.

Features

  • Scans a project folder and reviews every source file for bugs, vulnerabilities and code smells
  • Scores each file out of 100
  • Chat with the model about any single file
  • Review history with run-to-run comparison
  • Respects .AIIgnore (same syntax as .gitignore)
  • Export results as JSON or Markdown
  • Runs 100% locally, nothing leaves your machine

Requirements

  • Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
  • Ollama with at least one model pulled, e.g. ollama pull qwen2.5-coder:7b

Install

Download LintelAI-Setup-1.0.0.exe and run it. No admin rights needed, and no .NET install required.

Windows SmartScreen may warn because the installer is not code-signed. Click More info > Run anyway.
