Repository navigation
v0.7.1
Mostly one bug. On Windows, an install whose path holds a character above ASCII could not build a font at all.
What is fixed
A font file opens from a path with a character above ASCII in it. The install sits under your user name, so a single accented or Cyrillic letter there stopped every build and every render on the machine.
A refused render says which of five kinds of failure it hit, and names the file where it can.
What is new
CrossGlyph reads the variable font names the Google Fonts website writes, as GoogleSans-VariableFont_GRAD,opsz,wght.ttf with the italic as GoogleSans-Italic-VariableFont_GRAD,opsz,wght.ttf. A pair like that is one family with four slots and needs no config, the same as the bracketed spelling the fonts' own repositories use.
