Describe the Bug

I installed Create 0.5.1.e mod to a 1.18.2 Minecraft Forge 40.2.10 client, but when I start the game, the game throw a error:

Fix with remove flywheel.

I have the same problem but in 1.20.1 with create 0.5.1.j. create whants flywheel 0.6.11 or above and below 0.6.12. Is It the wrong create version?

I'm having the same problem, it says it needs version 0.6.11, below version 0.6.12, and it finds a version 1.0.1... and my modpack won't start at all, I've tried everything

If you are using an old or abandoned mod that probably won't see an update, you have to use a create versions less than 0.5.1j, (0.5.1 is when embedded flywheel came to be but I dunno about 0.5.1a-b, I cannot find, so you may need to play on 1.19 to get certain things, worst case), and a standalone flywheel jar in your mods folder of the version the mods ask for might help but that isn't really supported out of 1.19 legacy flywheel. Same with older versions of create addons that use the standalone flywheel or a version that needs an embedded flywheel/create verson. Otherwise, if you require a modern version of create (0.5.1+), or its addons or compatible mods, you will have to do without the mods that need older versions of create/flywheel, ie. mods that cannot/will not be updated for create 0.5.1 or combination of other mods/addon mods you want to use together. Modded minecraft, regardless of the loader, will forever be a cluster f-ducktape experience. RIP Hytale. Hope that something better comes along.

PS: it will probably take you many versions of create and create dependent mods to get everything working properly. Best to start from the earliest 1.20.1 versions and work from there if you absolutely need new versions of either. I think 0.5.1c may be the earliest version available on Curse, so I think there is some oversight as that version still has the internal flywheel version. (There are quite a few mods that are for 1.20.1 that probably were made prior to 0.5.1c? Not sure, it's a lot of work to straighten this out and I haven't done it) Not sure if deleting the embedded flywheel from Create's jar and putting the version you need in the .jar folder works, but maybe if all else fails you can try. But there should be a combo that works for you. Also, 0.5.1c (again, probably the earliest create version available to MC 1.20.1) has flywheel version 0.6.9-4 if that helps for the starting point. Just to be clear, this is poor version management on top of poor version management but that's kind of the meta game of moddledminceraft... J/K. It kinda just sucks, IMHO.
