The purpose of this first release is to include a fixed version in CubeAssets project, with specific default paths.
Main features :
- Cube to Furnace mass export : produces most content of CubeAssets project
- Furnace to Cube folder conversion :
Furnace 0.6.8.3 files are converted to ASM files with Cube macros.
These new songs can then be assembled into 32kB music banks, to be included in builds produced with ASM projects like SF2DISASM, SF1DISASM or landstalker_disasm.
At the moment, only sequence data is converted : new songs can only use original assets.
Next release will include Furnace to Cube conversion of related assets :
- YM/PSG instruments,
- PCM samples,
- Standardized YM levels and pitch effects,
- etc.
Main pre-requisite for this will be to update CubeWiz driver first, in order to allow music banks to include their own assets which will override default ones.
