System and Monitoring
CyberLauncher includes real-time system monitoring, storage information, an execution scheduler, and execution history, all as HUD overlays.
All three HUDs are also reachable from More options (⋯): System Diagnostics (HUD), Storage Diagnostics, Task Scheduler.
The top bar shows live monitors:

Open execution history HUD tracks everything you launch (stored in cyber_launch_history):

There are no max-items / retention-period settings and no in-history text filter. The curated views live in the main panel: MOST USED (by total count,
Reset most used) and MOST RECENT (by last launch,Remove from recents/Reset most recent); see Organization.
Located in the footer, the Power Hub provides direct access to core system power commands with a safety confirmation modal:
- Shutdown: Powered off cleanly via system commands
- Restart: Safely reboot your computer
- Sleep: Put system into low-power standby
- Lock: Instantly lock Windows workstation
Each power action prompts a 10-second cancelable countdown with immediate execution or cancel options to prevent accidental clicks.
CyberLauncher includes a scheduled automatic backup engine alongside manual JSON export/import:
- Automatic snapshots: Periodically saves your shortcuts, categories, and settings
- Retention policy: Automatically rotates and retains past snapshots without cluttering storage
-
Location: Backups are stored safely within
%APPDATA%/CyberLauncher/backups - Restore: Easy point-and-click restoration from any previous automatic backup snapshot
Scheduled tasks and imminent countdowns feature dedicated desktop overlay alerts:
- Renders in an independent, lightweight desktop window
- Alerts remain visible and alert you even when the main launcher panel is hidden or minimized to tray
- Visual countdown with progress tracking and direct cancel option
