DBase Video & Music Downloader 1.0.9

New

  • Trim editor for completed downloads: preview the whole file or a selected range, loop the selection, drag the start/end handles, and save the cut as a new clip (audio and video).
  • Set as ringtone for saved MP3s on Android - the write-settings permission is requested only when you use it.

Changed

  • The trim preview player is now platform-split so the Android build ships with no prebuilt native media blobs: Android/iOS/macOS/web use video_player (AndroidX Media3/ExoPlayer, built from source), while Windows and Linux use media_kit. This keeps the F-Droid build reproducible and scanner-clean. The Windows binary bundles libmpv; the Linux package now depends on the system libmpv.

Fixed

  • On-device trimming failed with "ffprobe was not found in the FFmpeg package". The app now runs the bundled ffmpeg/ffprobe with the correct library path, so probing and trimming work on Android.

See CHANGELOG.md and THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md.
