Operating
LogRunner distinguishes between the Logbook and Contest mode.
Keyboard Shortcuts
- TAB Move forward to the next input field
- SHIFT+TAB Move back to the previous input field
- ENTER Pressing ENTER saves the QSO
Define Contest
You can define the contest for which you want to log QSOs via the Tools > Contests menu. The input form includes the following fields:
- Contest The name of the contest
- Exchange The field containing the required information for the contest
- Duplicate counts How duplicates are handled
Click the End button to end the contest. Click the Resume button to continue logging.
Export Contest
The export file is defined in the Cabrillo entry dialog box. The “Preview” button allows you to preview the file, and the “Write file” button creates the Cabrillo file.
Keyboard Shortcuts
- TAB Move forward to the next input field; the field containing the sequential number is automatically skipped.
- SHIFT+TAB Move back to the previous input field; the field containing the sequential number is automatically skipped.
- ENTER Pressing ENTER saves the QSO
- CTRL + ALT + ENTER saves a duplicate entry, which is not normally possible.
Inport Form
In the current contest mode, you can switch between a simplified contest line form and the full entry form in the QSO entry screen.
Depending on the operating mode (CW or SSB), the input fields for RST sent and RST rcvd are pre-filled with 599 and 59, respectively. However, you can still manually overwrite these fields.
