Release list
Add `--ai` and `--repeat/-r` options
What's Changed
The first release since v0.2.0 to reach PyPI, adding the --ai and --repeat options.
New features
--ai [agents] — record the AI agents that helped write the commit.
Adds a footer line to the commit message listing the agents you name. Pass the list inline (quick-commit --ai "Claude, Copilot") or leave the value off (quick-commit --ai) to be prompted for it.
The footer text is configurable via the new ai-template config option. It defaults to Assisted-by: $, where $ is replaced by the agents you provide:
ai-template: Assisted-by: $The template must contain a $; configs without one are rejected with an error.
--repeat / -r [message] — reuse the structure of your previous commit.
Creates a new commit with the same type, scope, gitmoji, and breaking-change marker as the last quick-commit-style commit in the log, skipping the interactive prompts entirely. Pass a message to replace the subject line (quick-commit -r "fix the other half"), or leave it off to repeat the previous message verbatim. Handy for splitting one piece of work across several commits of the same kind.
--repeat handles the full range of quick-commit message shapes: scoped commits, breaking-change markers (feat!: ...), and multi-line bodies are all carried over intact.
Packaging
- Releases now publish to PyPI via trusted publishing (OIDC) instead of a stored API token.
- The package version is derived from the git tag via
setuptools_scm, so the published version always matches the release.

Add `--ai` and `--repeat/-r` option (superseded by v1.0.1)
Superseded by v1.0.1. This tag was never published to PyPI — the upload failed because the package version had not been bumped. The same changes shipped in v1.0.1.
What's Changed
This release brings the --ai and --repeat options to PyPI (they were tagged as v0.3.0 but never published), together with a set of fixes to how --repeat parses previous commit messages.
