What is in the box
- Bandlimited oscillator into a nonlinear resonant ladder filter, accent and slide, 4x oversampling with reported integer latency.
- 16-step sequencer with gate, accent and slide per step, plus pattern banks and pattern chains.
- Sequencer transport: RUN is the sequencer's play button - it starts the sequence from any play mode, browsing the 50 presets keeps it running, and choosing MIDI play mode stops it.
- LFOs, probability, ratchets and microtiming per step, MIDI modulation matrix, macros with morphing, controller pickup and relative modes, undo/redo and A/B compare.
- Right-click any continuous control for MIDI CC learn; MIDI file export with native drag-out to the DAW.
- Animated header logo driven by host tempo and filter resonance.
- TOOLS > CHECK FOR UPDATES reads one anonymous GET of the version feed on the product site and tells you, in a dialog over the plugin window, whether you are up to date or a newer release is out - linking straight to the new package and its release notes.
- An About card behind the header's version line, linking the product page, this repository and the current release.
Verification
Two ctest suites gate the package: a 50-preset render and audio check, and an expanded feature suite covering MIDI learn, controller modes, macro/morph/LFO audio, chance and ratchets, the sequencer's RUN transport (play engages SEQ, presets keep playback, MIDI releases the latch), host PPQ seeks, dense automation at 44.1/48/96 kHz, DPI behaviour, logo/raster agreement, the update-check version comparison with all three of its result dialogs, the fetch itself against a local server that answers the same request the button makes, and the About card's links and dismissal. Both pass at 100%.
DAW drag/drop and physical high-DPI hardware still need manual host testing. See G-AcidBase/feature-verification.txt and G-AcidBase/README.md inside the archive.
