This page outlines features planned for future releases of VSVanillaPlus. These features are in on the roadmap, and their status is detailed on each one.

Important Note: Features listed here are planned but not yet implemented.

Cartography Table

Status: 🛑 On Hold - Re-evaluating map interface due to constraints within VS Engine.

Category: Exploration & Navigation

Description

A buildable cartography table that provides a centralized location for map management and waypoint coordination.

Planned Features

  • Dedicated Map Storage: The table maintains its own map information
  • Waypoint Sharing:
    • Add waypoints from personal maps to the table's map
    • Copy waypoints from the table's map to personal maps
  • Interactive Interface: Directly add or remove waypoints by interacting with the table's map
  • Collaborative Use:
    • Multiple players can use the same table for shared waypoint information
    • Add ability to attach notes to table waypoint data

📦 Inventory and Container Sorting

Status: 📋 Planned
Category: Quality of Life

Description

Adds sorting functionality to all containers, making inventory management more convenient.

Planned Features

  • Sort Alphabetically: Organize items by name
  • Sort by Type: Group similar items together
  • Universal Support: Works with all container types

🔍 Crafting Container Content Display

Status: 📋 Planned
Category: Quality of Life

Description

Enhances the Block Info Overlay to show contents and quantities for containers used in crafting recipes.

Planned Features

  • Display contents for crafting containers like:
    • Crucibles
    • Cooking Pots
    • Other recipe-relevant containers
  • Show item quantities at a glance
  • Integrated into the existing Block Info Overlay system

🗄️ Storage Drawers

Status: 📋 Planned
Category: Storage

Description

A new storage block type that pulls out from the side rather than opening from the top, available in three size variants.

Variants

Storage Drawer

  • Size: Single block
  • Capacity: 16 slots
  • Opening: Drawer pulls out from the side

Large Storage Drawer

  • Size: Two blocks
  • Capacity: 40 slots
  • Crafting: Built using two Storage Drawers

Extra Large Storage Drawer

  • Size: Three blocks
  • Capacity: 56 slots
  • Crafting: Built using three Storage Drawers
