GoodBit 3.10.1
GoodBit 3.10.1
Fixed
- The notch's wings sat one pixel too far from the island. The gap is now 8px on both sides; the wings' top spacing is unchanged.
GoodBit 3.10.0
GoodBit 3.10.0
New
- Every kill and death GoodBit finds on screen is now marked as a GoodBit on its own, from half a second before to a second after, and never past the start or end of the clip. Clips where only the sound stood out get their loudest moment marked the same way. Found moments used to wait for you to keep them, so a clip could say "1 GoodBit found" and open onto an empty list.
- A found GoodBit you delete stays deleted, however often you open the clip again.
Changed
- The notch says "1 GoodBit found" rather than "1 moment", and the tile is called Found GoodBits.
- A clip with found GoodBits nobody has kept yet says so in its GoodBits list, with where to keep them.
- The sentence explaining why a GoodBit was found now has its own line instead of being cut off beside the range, and how sure GoodBit is sits with the timing.

New
- The notch grows wings. Two small panels of tiles either side of the open notch: rest the pointer beside it and one springs out, or set them to open together with the notch. Off, on hover, or with the notch, in Settings, Recording.
- Twelve tiles to choose from: your recent clips, today's session with its found moments, running jobs, how many hours of recording fit on the drive, Play again through Steam, quick tags, star and share the latest clip, views of your published clips, OBS and the key that saves, and the last seven days.
- Arrange them by dragging, with the real tiles and what they say right now. Drag one out to take it off, and turn a two-cell tile to stand it up or lay it down.
GoodBit 3.8.2
GoodBit 3.8.2
Fixed
- The "Saving your clip" notch no longer shaves the last pixel off its subtitle. The final "y" of "Filing it into your library" was clipped at the right edge.
GoodBit 3.8.1
GoodBit 3.8.1
- The notch waits with the GoodBit loader again while a clip is being saved.
GoodBit 3.8.0
GoodBit 3.8.0
- Battlefield 6 kills over bright ground are found now. The kill banner is see-through, and over sunlit sand, pale rock or bright grass it used to go unnoticed. Across a 129 clip library this finds five kills that were missed, with no false ones.
- A kill whose banner faded for a moment over sand is no longer counted as two.
- Battlefield clips are read again the next time they are opened or swept, so a clip that used to say it found nothing gets a fresh look.

- Delete the latest clip straight from the notch: press the bin beside Open GoodBit and confirm. The file goes to the Recycle Bin.
- Rest the pointer on "Clip saved" to open the notch with today's clips.

The notch
- The corner card that said a clip was saved is now a notch at the top of the screen. It opens with "Saving your clip", becomes "Clip saved", and folds away, over games too.
- On a quiet desktop it stays as a thin status line: green when OBS is running. Rest the pointer on it to see today's clips and trim the latest one.
- It steps aside for games and anything fullscreen, videos included.
- After a game closes and GoodBit finds highlights, rest the pointer on "Found N GoodBits" to open them in the editor, each clip cut to what was found in it.
- Settings, Recording, The notch: switch it off, keep or drop the desktop line, and set how quickly it opens and closes. If you had turned the old card off, the notch starts off too.
Settings
- Every page is a set of cards, one subject each, instead of one long list.
- Much shorter text, and every button sits at the right like the switches do.
- "Treat saves this close as one moment" now offers 5 seconds to 1 minute.
GoodBit 3.6.1
A small follow-up to 3.6.0: the view count moves to where it belongs.
- The view count is a chip beside Published. Top right of a published clip's card, an eye and the number of times the link has been opened. Hover it to see when it was last opened. The line under the title is back to length, game, date and size, as it was before 3.6.0.
GoodBit 3.6.0
See how often your published clips are watched without leaving the library.
- View counts on the cards. A published clip's card now ends its line with how many times the link has been opened, for example
0:21 · Battlefield 6 · 2 days ago · 87.2 MB · 37 views. Hover the number to see when it was last opened. The counts refresh when you open the library or come back to the window, at most every ten minutes, so leaving GoodBit in the tray for days no longer means last week's numbers. A clip nobody has opened yet shows no count on its card, because a card cannot tell "never opened" from "published before the counter existed"; the Publisher screen still has the full picture. - Stream Deck connection: the server now answers only the requests it names outright, which closes the last code scanning alert. The connection is a named pipe that only this Windows account can open, so nothing outside your account could ever reach it.
