GoodBit 3.7.0

The notch

  • The corner card that said a clip was saved is now a notch at the top of the screen. It opens with "Saving your clip", becomes "Clip saved", and folds away, over games too.
  • On a quiet desktop it stays as a thin status line: green when OBS is running. Rest the pointer on it to see today's clips and trim the latest one.
  • It steps aside for games and anything fullscreen, videos included.
  • After a game closes and GoodBit finds highlights, rest the pointer on "Found N GoodBits" to open them in the editor, each clip cut to what was found in it.
  • Settings, Recording, The notch: switch it off, keep or drop the desktop line, and set how quickly it opens and closes. If you had turned the old card off, the notch starts off too.

Settings

  • Every page is a set of cards, one subject each, instead of one long list.
  • Much shorter text, and every button sits at the right like the switches do.
  • "Treat saves this close as one moment" now offers 5 seconds to 1 minute.
